1999 Maxi Dress

Soo flattering !

I wore this to a summer black tie wedding and it was great! I was really hesitant to order this because it’s pretty boring, but a fun updo and makeup really made it more me. The fit was very flattering and the white strap hit just right on me(be warned it is not adjustable though!) It was pretty tight around my butt and hips, and I am not the curviest person. The clasp did break at the end of the night (not due to anything I did). I would recommend for a classic and safe option!

Rent this, you won’t regret it

I rented a size small and it was snug! It looks great but if felt a bit uncomfortable. I’d try a medium next time. Also, I’m only 5’5 and this dress went to my ankles. I went for a more casual look so I wore flat sandals. I couldn’t really figure out a heel to work with this dress due to the length (or lack thereof). It’s a great dress, I’d just suggest sizing up.

This is just a flattering dress! I kept it in my bag for so long I just went ahead and bought it - easy to dress up or down. Get it!

def need to steam this one before wearing but once you get the wrinkles out it is stunning! classic and chic yet subtle nautical vibes. great structure and thicker material. would wear again

Got so many compliments on this dress! So beautiful and especially for someone with a wider back and broader shoulders (like me) it was extremely flattering at the top. 10/10!

I loved this dress, it was so flattering. You can’t really tell on the pictures, but it’s kind of bunched through the midriff section. I had to adjust these sometimes to not bunch too much, but was not a huge deal, especially for a rental. Great dress! Petite approved!

This form fitting dress was actually surprisingly comfortable, I was able to dance all nice in it! Wore a sticky bra so my boobs still looked great but it is the sexiest I have felt in a very long time!

OBSESSED!!!!!! Fit me like a glove! I wore 1 size up from my typical size and it fit me like a glove. For sure size up if in between sizes! Perfect length for petite.

I’m 5’5 and smaller too, wider hips typically a 4. This fit but was very tight to sit in. I couldn’t have gone up as the top would have been too small but just not the best sitting dress for long periods of time!

I did not actually wear the dress because it was so tight. I didn’t think that I could eat or drink anything in it without ripping a seam. It’s an interesting dress. It’s looks formal because it’s long but it’s actually casual due to the straps. It could be dressed up or dressed down. Next time I think I will try the next size up.

Beautiful dress but I was not able to wear it. I could not get it zipped all the way up. At the time I tried this on, I was 120lbs, 34D. Fit through hips but too small to zip through chest. Length was great. Could not wear

High slit and tight on butt. Wanted to love it so bad

Sized up twice, and neither a M nor L could accommodate breasts. Meanwhile the rest of the dress was loose, and then the neck strap far too long (not adjustable). The fabric feels great and stretchy, but could not make this one work. Boo.

Not good for anyone with a larger chest

Thought this would be a cute 90s supermodel vibe but it was bland and didn’t fit well in the top. Maybe a smaller size would have hit but overall nothing special.

This looked amazing in the mirror, but I was worried it would be inappropriate for a wedding guest. It was really taught on my butt and thighs, and although you couldn’t tell when I was standing still, I could see it being uncomfortable when sitting and dancing. The slit also goes up so high in the back

I liked the dress and received lots of compliments until the zipper busted in the middle of the reception and exposed my entire back

This was not flattering on me.

Does not work at all for a longer torso the slit is super high in the back - so you would see my butt if I actually wore it
