Great dress for a formal winter wedding. As other reviews said the arms are right. Otherwise it was perfect for the event!

Cons was the thick stiff material. And Im not crazy about shoulder pads. But pros were that it was simple elegant and very flattering to my figure. This picture doesnt do it justice.. just size up one or 2 sizes

Overall Fit
Runs small

I wore this dress for a winter wedding and received soooo many compliments. The only thing was the sleeves were a tad bit too long and loose, but this was not a dealbreaker! I was nervous that I would not be able to dance bc of the tight arms, but still could!! Just a tad bit restricting but nothing awful. You can wear this dress with or without heels!! Glad I got the 4 instead of the 2 otherwise i wouldn’t have been able to move at all.

Absolutely loved it! Got so many compliments. Be prepared to use double sided tape to tape the dress down. Really shows off your assets.

Comfortable, flattering, and warm for a winter wedding!

Order a bigger size and have someone on hand to zip you up. I read a lot of reviews about how this dress runs small so I ordered 2 sizes up to be safe. I wear a 34DD and the girls were on full display. I’m curvy and this hugged all the right places. The dress is a nice fabric and very flattering. I received a ton of compliments

Great color and material gown, a little tight but I wouldn’t have sized up. I was only able to raise my arms up to my shoulders, but it didn’t bother me.

I rented first time with RTR and the whole experience was amazing. Easy delivery and return process. The dress came out to be exactly as I pictured in my mind.

This dress fit me like a glove and I got so many compliments! I was a bit uncomfortable with the low neckline and tightness, and the slit took some getting used to but it was definitely worth it and a total showstopper!

Definitely need to size up for this one, but is stretchy enough for a bit of dance floor action. Wore to a formal winter wedding and it was perfect for the outdoor snowy ceremony. I wished I didn't have long sleeves during the reception dance party though.

The dress fit great. It was a great color for fall, and it kept me fairly warm.

I thought it held everything in nicely and did not show any lines or areas of insecurity. It didnt fit over a bra but it was supportive enough where I didnt need one. The sleeves were a little tight in the shoulders (I definitely could not lift my hands over my head) but I didn't really need to so did not think it took away from the dress. For reference I'm 5'5'', 140 lbs, athletic build and wear between a 4-6. I wore a 6 and definitely could not have zipped up a 4. It was for an outdoor gala and was thick enough to keep me warm but not too thick where I was sweating in it while we were inside at cocktail hour

The cut is gorgeous and dramatic! Like other reviews have mentioned you do have limited arm mobility and the material is warm. If I could afford it, I would have bought this dress.

Wore to a wedding with a Spanx mid-thigh bodysuit underneath (which are peaking out in the photo, oops!). Felt very beautiful and elegant, but could still sit, stand, eat, and most importantly, dance in this dress!

Fit perfectly. Would rent again. Five stars.

Perfect dress for a winter wedding. I did have to size up but length was perfect.

Perfect fit all around except the arms. I don't love the shoulder pads either, but altogether felt amazing

Rented this for a wedding in November. Elegant and classy! Got tons of compliments. The material is great for fall as it will keep you warm but this dress definitely runs small. I recommend sizing up for a perfect fit.

Loved the dress but definitely runs small

The material is thick and very flattering. I received compliments all night! Great dress!

I love this dress but heed the reviews and order 2 and 3 sizes up from your usual dress size. I usually wear a 6 and prefer a tight fit so I got 6/8. I'm wearing a size 8 in the picture. You can see how tight it is and a 10 would've been snug, but better fitting. The shoulders don't allow for much movement which wasn't an issue at the event but I couldn't zip the dress up myself( also likely because of how tight is was to begin with)The cut is revealing in the bust but the fabric plays nicely with fashion tape. I'm 5'1 so the dress would have dragged a bit if I didn't choose to wear (and prefer wearing) rather high heels. Four stars because I LOVE the dress: The fabric, the cut, the slit, but it runs deceptively small and there's no petite option in larger sizes.

Wore this to a black tie event and it was great! I am 5’5 and 140 lbs and I wore the size 6. I am normally a size 4, and the 6 was still pretty tight around the chest so I would suggest sizing up for this one. Material is fantastic and the length was just right for me!

This dress hugs your waist in and makes you look tiny and really accentuates an hourglass shape. However, there’s stitching around the bust I found really unnecessary and weird. Also, I’m not sure how anyone lifts their arms in this dress.

First and foremost, the dress really is beautiful! The color is amazing, the fabric was perfect for a fall wedding, and I received a ton of compliments wearing it. However, read all of the reviews and listen - SIZE UP at least one, if not two sizes!! The arms and chest area are extremely tight. I read all the reviews beforehand and I typically wear size 4, so I ordered a 6 and 8. The 6 was tight, I mean tight (like my husband had to help get that zipper up) but the 8 looked too boxy. I went with the 6 and really couldn't dance or move at the wedding. Again, the dress looked amazing and I felt beautiful in it, but only 4 stars because you really can't move much in it.

Glad I read the reviews and ordered a larger size. It was still tight, especially around the shoulders. But I was able to squeeze in. It’s an elegant dress with classy lines. I really liked how I looked in it.

Fit was like a glove and the color is a gorgeous cranberry. My only complaint is there is no give in the fabric so the shoulders and arms were a little stiff making it a touch uncomfortable. Had I worn this to a wedding or somewhere with dancing I probably would have been frustrated by that.

This dress photographed well and I got lots of compliments, but it runs very small (size up 2, I only went up 1 and regretted it) and the slit is in the DANGER zone. Beware before renting if you’re remotely curvy!

I should have listened to the reviews and went a size up! I’m usually a true 2! I should have worn a 4 in this! It was very fitted but still somewhat comfortable! The slit is very high but I got away with it! Color was fantastic! Bust for just right but I’m built smaller so I can’t imagine a bigger chest being comfortable in this! I would rent again but in a size higher!

Oooooh how I wish rtr would provide sizing info for their items. Relying on other renters is just not a practical. After looking at reviews I decided on an 8. It was TIGHT. But as I didn’t have any other options I had to go with it. Could barely lift my arms. I’m usually an 8 and saw this reviewed as true to size. Should’ve gotten a 10. It was flattering however and supportive in the best without a bra so that was nice.

This dress is very comfortable, the material is soft and warm. I wore it outdoors in the middle of a Chicago winter and it kept me fairly warm. The size 4 was too tight around the hip area so I went with the size 6, which fit better but as the time went on the dress got more and more loose. It's a nice length too, I wore it with 3 inch heels and it didn't drag at all.

I would highly suggest sizing up. I am usually a 6/8 and the 10 was snug on me, but I also have a larger chest (DD). It is tight in the arms and chest so no raising the roof. Otherwise, the material is great and the color is stunning. I could do without the pointy shoulder pads.

Others said it ran small, I'm glad I sized up for my backup. Also, I'm 5'8 and work 3 inch heels and I'm glad I ordered the Long. A regular would've been too short. Sleeves/chest area are tight but not uncomfortable.

Very figure flattering dress but these reviews were 100% right... you can't raise your arms. If you're trying to "YMCA" at a wedding this probably isn't for you. Other than that it's a gorgeous dress.

The material is very thick and nice and warm. The slit is very high. I typically hover between a 4 and a 6 and most of the reviews told me to size up so I expected to wear the 6 but I wore the 4. The shoulders are really snug and the arms are pretty loose which was an odd combo. Overall, the dress was well liked. Giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 simply because the shoulders/arms were a little oddly sized. The dress does have shoulder pads which I ended up liking.

I am 5’2 138 lbs with a C cup First this dress was amazing and I got compliments on it most of the evening and through the following week. I am normally a 8/10 in clothes so the 10 fit snugly but it’s supposed to. The neck line was revealing in an elegant way. Wore a regular bra with it and no one could tell. Even with heels I had told pick up the dress a bit, but I am on the shorter side. Also, I do have to say when you go to sit the slit in the dress does ride up, so be prepared!
