Ilana Dress

The XXL size was just perfect for me. I carry my extra weight in my upper arms and my belly, but had zero problems with fit. My husband said the fit wasn't as flattering because the cut is very straight and flat, so it didn't camouflage my apron as well as some other dresses do, but it was just so easy and comfortable to toss on for a quick errand. The back is cut lower than what I'm used to (not too low at all, just much more exposed). I'll likely rent this again.

I am very curvy and it is difficult to find dresses that hide some of my problem areas, specifically my stomach and arms. This dress was a perfect fit! The pattern was nice and summery for a wedding. The dress is made of very stretchy material that made it super comfortable to wear for hours on end. The length of the skirt hit just below my knees and was modest but attractive. The sleeves were the perfect length and I didn’t have to fuss pushing them up or down, they stayed perfectly in place all night. I wore the dress on a 90 degree and humid day. It wasn’t too hot because the material was very breathable. The scoop neck in the back wasn’t as deep as I was expecting. It didn’t show my bra at all. It was a tasteful fit. I wish I could purchase this dress because I loved it that much. Tons of compliments!

Super soft material so feels likes pajamas. Not tight but form fitting so no hiding any bumps. Back goes lower so not great for work but could wear a jacket and be perfect.

I accidentally put this backwards and I think it looked better that way so I stuck with it all day. Comfy and easy to wear dress

I loved this dress, and got loads of compliments. Was a bridesmaid in a wedding and wore this for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The bride LOVED it! Super comfortable and flattering. I ended up wearing the larger of the two sizes just because it was a tiny bit longer.

This is such a fun dress. Fit is comfortable and true to size. But you need something slimming underneath bc it clings enough to show bulges. But it is a really beautiful dress and you feel super feminine.

Beautiful dress that drapes the body. I did have to wear spanx to prevent lumps from showing. The dress has a scoop neck at the back and adds some oomph. It made me look a lot slimmer imo and I appreciated it!

I loved this dress. I rented it for conference where I was presenting an 8 hour class. I needed comfortable and no fuss, along with appropriate. This dress was it. Also it came out of the suitcase and did not need pressed, steamed or even hung up for while---wear immediately. To me the only downside was the neckline was a little to wide and for most bras the straps could be a problem. Since I was in front of a group I did not want to be fixing the straps the whole day, so I through on a jacket/sweater. I will definitely rent again. I wear a size 14 and there were no size issues.

Very forgiving, hid my lumps & bumps, nice length and material. You may feel a little warm in it during late spring / summer months. Received many many compliments.

Beautiful print, love the flow and fabric and when you walk it has a fun flip. I did wear a slip with the dress as the material is lightweight although not see-through. The hem hit right below my knee. The only "con" was the neck was too high for me and I felt like I was being choked. I actually wore the dress backwards and it was perfect!

Completely on it’s own, it’s not super flattering. It sits in your bra dents (is that a term?) and when I sat down, there was no hiding my belly. BUT, it’s cute af with a blazer- so I loved my outfit this day, but when I got warm, I wasn’t comfortable taking my blazer off.

I wore this for a baptism and got a lot of compliments! It was very flattering because of the dark color but the bright florals made it perfect for spring. I love finding dresses with sleeves and this one was perfect!

This dress was so great for the spring. I wore the small, and while the fabric was a tiny bit unforgiving around my stomach, the dress flows out from waist, so it didn't cling to any problem spots around my hips. I'm 5'5 and the length hit right below my knees which was great for open toe heels. The hem of the dress also moves really well when you walk-- it kind of flutters around you, which I loved. I received a ton of complaints on the dress and felt great when I wore it!

This look was a solid staple as opposed to a show stopper. Cute spring color pallete. Fabric was some sort of polyblend, and the cut was flattering for me in terms of highlighting curves in a positive manner. Easy to wear, decently cute look. The sleeves definitely ended up being more of just shy of 3/4 length as opposed to the photo where it looks more like a slightly elongated cap sleeve. If you plan to wear this somewhere where it's hot out, I would rethink this choice based on the sleeves. If you like covering your arms, then go for this dress!

Rented this as a back up for a baby shower. I didn't end up wearing it because the other dress worked better for the venue. This dress is still great, although the sleeves are longer than the dress in the listing (they're 3/4, which is great, but if you were looking for a short sleeve, you might be disappointed.) I would definitely rent this again!

I enjoyed this dress and felt a little flirty in it. The back is totally open, so had to wear it with a sweater jacket for work

The material is form fitting, but is very flattering. I wore this to a few social events and to work once. However, the back is fairly low cut, so I felt a little underdressed for work.

I typically wear a medium but bought a small and it was a perfect fit. It's also very forgiving around the waist area. I also love the scoop back. I wore this dress to my sisters graduation. I'm planning on purchasing this!

I love the fit and feel of this dress! The material is so smooth and skims the body for a flattering fit. This was a great comfy dress for work with a pretty color and print. I seriously contemplated buying it!

The scoop back was a little much for me for work, but this was perfect for dinner out. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable and the skirt shape is flattering. The waist seam hit me a little lower than I would have liked.

Only a spring or summer dress. It is super thin. I live in Florida so it worked for me but it's not very fancy. More of a casual dress. Honestly it is thinner than a lot of Amazon dresses I've purchased which was disappointing.

I wore this a couple of times with tennis shoes and jean jacket to run errands.

I really like Leota and have found their other A-line dresses to be super flattering and very easy to wear, but the combination of the ultra-thin, stretchy fabric and really narrow cut around the midsection made this one considerably less attractive. I felt pretty self-conscious in it generally and it was unwearable on days / times when my stomach was anything other than its relative flattest. It’s a pretty print but I’d either size up or, more honestly, opt for another choice from Leota entirely.

I didn't like the cut of this dress at all.
