Ellie Ballerina Dress

Loved this dress because it looked ccomservetive but when the light hit it, you could see the booty shorts!

This garment is superb. I’m telling you, I am OBSESSED. It is so comfortable and glamorous and it fit nicely! I received a lot of compliments. It IS a little difficult for bathroom usage because it’s essentially a romper but, this dress is so phenomenal, it’s worth it! I will definitely be renting this again! Perfect for holiday parties or other semi-formal affairs!

Such a fun dress! It was comfortable, sparkly, and the see through skirt made it stand out just enough.

I have wanted to have a shorts with a sheer skirt overlay moment for a long time and this was awesome! Simple (yet sparkly!!!) on top and party on the bottom! Loved it! Comfortable and runs true to size!

Size is fine, just a frumpy look. Did not wear out.

Pros: This dress was perfect for a black tie optional gala. It was a very comfortable to wear and I was lucky enough to receive it new with tags. I’m 5’2” and was wearing three inch heels and it just hit the ground so the length was perfect for me, and what I was looking for. Cons: as you can see in the photo, the sheerness of the skirt isn’t as sheer as you may think. The zipper also stuck a bit on the sequins and the shorts were a little loose so they would ride up and the zipper would bunch. The super obvious white tag on the seam just below the butt was pointed out to me, so I never wore it again. It's modest but nice, beware of the tag if you care about that sort of thing.

Skirt made me feel romantic but booty shorts were sexy. Not breastfeeding friendly.

Fits great I had rented this previously. It was formal event not black tie but would work for both.

Comfort and fun

Very cute outfit.

The other complaints about this outfit are what I liked. I was dressed up but felt like I was in jammies. It was just for a fun girl's night, so I didn't mind that it wasn't form fitting.

Warm. Good for holiday parties.

I was worried this was going to be a little matronly but it was cute. I wish the waist had been tighter to be a bit sexier.

Hard to pee

The zipper was difficult to do alone and the shorts wanted to ride up! It worked beautifully for the event, but I won’t wear again.

Felt like a ballerina. Wished the top had a more bodysuit feel.

I found this gown to be too boxy and unflattering that I didn't even get a photo. I needed something last minute for NYE and there wasn't much available on RTR, so I settled with this in a bigger size. I still wore it, but I did not feel like my best self. The velvet shorts underneath were baggier than sweatpants.

Cute and comfortable dress, but the sheer was darker than expected, so it just looked like a very matronly black head to toe number. Not a great fit for a tall girl...sleeves too short, waist hit too high, shorts underneath rode up, and fell way above the floor. Bow hit my ribcage in the exact wrong spot and made me look wide.

The distance shoulder to crotch was too short for me, and there are shorts embedded in the dress. I'm guessing 5'9" or 5'10" and up you will not be comfortable.

Beautiful dress - it just didn't fit me well.

Rented it for a gala and it fit perfectly for my 20 week baby bump. However, spouse wasn't a fan of the see through skirt. He said it made it look "cheap"... but I loved it and would have worn it if I could.

This fit well, but the bottom shorts were a bit big. It was fine, but the fabric is heavier on the bottom than it seems in the picture. It seemed a little matronly and did not wear.

I should have listened to the reviews that said this dress was frumpy. I'm not sure if the skirt is just not sheer enough, but the top is also a little "mother of the groom". It was not for me. Tried on, did not wear in public.
