Apiatan Gown

This dress is simplistic but still elegant. I especially loved that the design helped me avoid getting too hot while wearing black in Texas heat.

Loved this gown. It was elegant and fit in for the event but also comfortable to wear. I had read a prior review of a women similar sized to myself who said she fit in the size 6, but wore the size 8 because of the comfort. That is exactly what I did. I’m 5’3”, 135#, 36D chest with 40 inch hips.

Wore to a black tie wedding in the fall - wanted to cover my shoulders but didn't want it to look too stuffy, and this worked great! The cape felt stylish and cool, and the dress wasn't too difficult to walk in. I think the length was just right with 2" heels but I did pick up the dress sometimes to make sure I didn't step on it.

Wore this as a wedding guest dress and felt amazing in it! I am typically a size 4, but the 2R fit perfectly. Had a cape effect that added a fun flair, but also felt very classy. Received lots of compliments

I decided to take a risk and not wear SPANX underneath and it worked. What a comfortable and classy dress!

The dress is long and I wore short heels. I kept stepping on the back of it. It may be a better dress for a taller person or wear higher heels.

Wore this to a gala- loved the cape! It was a bit snug around the hips but fine with spanx. Got multiple compliments. Would absolutely wear again!

It was great for a wedding reception.

I wore it to a black tie wedding. Looks great, even with the low heeled shoes I chose to wear to be slightly more comfortable with all the walking I had to do that day.

Normally wear size 8 and this fit perfectly without having to use spanx! Side note: did not wear a bra (was snug with it on) and you wouldn’t tell at all- the cape portion kept that under wraps!

Wore to my sister's Chicago wedding which was very vintage feeling and this was perfect. It fit so well and the cape really added flair. It was beautiful.

This is a simple gown with a dash of unexpected elegance thanks to the chiffon sash. I coupled it with a pearl pendant necklace and dangling pearl earrings, and along with my tuxedo-clad arm candy we were a dashing couple at a black tie affair. I really, really wish I could buy this dress! This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway, but it won't be the last. (P.S. Dress is stretchy enough that I could have worn the size 8, but I felt more comfortable in the 10.)

This dress is very elegant for a black tie event. It is comfortable and does not wrinkle easily. I had to order a bigger size than I normally wear to fit through the bust area. It was a little long for my height but it was manageable. It was perfect for dancing the night away!

Totally loved this. An elegant looking dress that made me feel wonderful. I ended up going with something else for the event but would wear this again in a heartbeat. Based on other reviews I went with a 6R and the size was just right.

If your traveling make sure you have access to a good steamer. It was a big big and long but comfortable and elegant for a formal black tie event.

Had to go up a size, tighter in the middle. Super comfortable and hides all the unflattering parts.

This fit just true to size, a tad long but with high heels I was able to pull it off.

Very classy and elegant. Unfortunately my usual size 10 was too firm fitting and the next size up wasn't available, so I didn't wear this. But I would consider this dress for future events.

I loved this dress. It's very classy, not revealing, but makes you feel like a million bucks. The fit is a little loose, but leaves some room for dinner. :)

I worked a gala and selected this dress because it was elegant with no fuss. I didn't have to wear a strapless bra, my arms were covered so I wasn't shifting a shall or moving around. It was also long enough that I got away with switching between flats and heels intermittently. I probably could have fit into an 18 so I needed nylons wearing a 16. I also upgraded with statement piece earrings and a bracelet because I didn't want a necklace with the front cape. It was a great choice for the night.
