Toulouse Cropped Cardigan

I love this color and might have purchased this cardi if it didn’t cost so much when it is made of synthetic fabric. Some reviews mention shoulder pads, but there weren’t any in the cardi I received. Also, the length was perfect for me. Not too cropped at all. I did pair with higher waisted Trina Turk pants (also from RTR). Maybe that was it and that I’m only 5’1”. But I was able to tuck the cardi or wear it out with no problem. Finally, no itching for me either. For me, it was 100% a winner.

Elegant and beautiful for spring. The shoulder pads are definitely large as an FYI and take a little bit to get used to but overall still love the look.

I wore this for a weekend day-date with my husband and was surprised by how much I liked it. On the hanger, it looked tiny and I panicked, but it’s got some stretch to it so it’s more forgiving. It’s lightweight, packs well, and actually has long enough sleeves for my long arms (!!!). IMO, looks best worn unbuttoned and layered over something. The pink is pretty loud, but amazing if styled well. Looks best over something sleeveless and/or seamless. The seams will show through on your arms otherwise. Good for when you’re popping in and out of AC and need a quick layer to throw on. My only gripe? The shoulder pads. They’re barely sewn in, shift around constantly, and honestly feel like a DIY afterthought. If they were fixed, this would be 5 stars.

Can be dressed up or down. Wear to work or casually. Loved this. Thought about keeping it and will rent in the navy too.

Even though it's slightly cropped I'm 5'9 still hit top of my jeans. Perfect casual look

I loved this, and had so many great compliments on the color. The buttons were great addition The one drawback was the pads in the shoulders. I had a hard time, trying to get them adjusted and always felt that they were a little bit off. I wore this several times. It is slightly cropped so that I could wear with a high waist pant. The material is a little heavier, so may not work well in a summer environment for some

This sweater is so vibrant, the fabric is so luxe. If it was less expensive I would have kept it!! So stunning.

This is a fantastic warmer-weather professional jacket—exceptional quality. A bit more cropped on my body than expected.

I couldn’t close this all the way without gapi gaping at my chest so I wore it open with a tank underneath. It’s a pretty color, has shoulder pads.

This was fine for me. Color is super bright and harsh. Cut isn't the most flattering. Cropped. Wore twice and zero complements.

Was expecting a little heavier of a weight to the fabric, but was great for wearing to work on a summer day.

Don’t rent if you have broad shoulders! The shoulder pads are pretty overwhelming compared to the rest of the fit of the sweater. The color is great, but I have swimmer shoulders, so I looked kind of like a girly linebacker

The knit on this sweater is really luxe — soft and lightweight — but it runs small, and the shoulder pads were oddly visible. I could’ve made it work with some high-waisted jeans, but in the end, those shoulder pads were a deal-breaker.

I loved the color and material of this sweater but the shoulder pads (which I didn't even realize it had when I rented it) were too much for me. They were cheap feeling and did not sit well on me

Too cropped for work. Couldn’t figure out what to wear it with so didn’t wear it at all.

I don’t hate shoulder pads but you could see the shape of them through the sweater.
