Blue Elliott Dress

This was the perfect dress for a fall day in Napa - threw on a jean jacket when it got chilly, and was great as a stand-alone during the warm afternoon hours. Was skeptical based on reviews but it looked great in and I had no concerns. Super comfortable and so versatile. Would rent again or buy for sure!

Good day dress, needed it on a hot picnic day

I'm a true size 4 and the waist on the dress was roomy, so I belted it. It is so lightweight with the loveliest full skirt, but not voluminous. The straps are adjustable, which is a nice detail. I wore it for a vacation night out, but this would be great for a summer wedding, a date night, anything. Sweet and feminine without any fussiness.

I wore this a parents night out and loved it. I will say the sizing is a little weird. I rented a 4 last year and it was a little too big. The 2 fit better but was a little snug on my rib cage. Regardless this is a super pretty and flattering dress. Probably wouldn’t work as well if you are blessed in the chest.

Slightly snug over chest if busty, but stays true to size. Cute, good date night dress.

You can’t go wrong with j.crew and navy gingham! This was just what I needed for family pics in the spring!

Normally a 2-4, sized up to 8 in order to fit the bump and loved it!

Definitely showed off my chest! You should size up if you are a larger bust because there is absolutely no stretch. Loved the fuller skirt!

Meetings on the coast so this was great. I wore a blazer in meetings and a sundress outside enjoying the sun. Does run small in the chest - I could not wear a bra.

The perfect rental for a rehearsal dinner! I am 5'7" & 130 lbs. The 2 fit well but probably could have sized down to 0 if it had been available, as it was slightly loose at the waist.

Bodice for really well and the extra volume in the skirt was very flattering. Spaghetti straps are adjustable. Dress came right above my ankles, but I'm 5'1" 123. Wore a 2 and it fit perfectly

This dress is GORGEOUS! I paired it with a skinny gold belt and flat gold sandals. When I came downstairs after getting dressed for brunch , hubby looked at me like I was a snack, dessert, and the whole da*mn meal!! He was like yeah, I LOVE this one!! It's a great fit. As a curvy girl, I often worry about pleats, but they look beautiful and move elegantly. The belt was necessary to accentuate my curves since the waist is kind of large because the pleats start high up above the waistline.

The dress fit well, and was cute and comfortable. I would have preferred if it had pockets.

This is a very comfortable, light-weight dress. It was easy to wear all day. I wore it to the office and got several compliments. The only tiny complaints I have are: the straps are very thin and pulled on my shoulders a tiny bit and it doesn’t have pockets. With how flowy it is it could totally hide pockets and make this dress a total dime.

looked fine but hit a lot longer than i was expecting. cute for a food festival. i dressed it down with sneakers but could also dress it up

The waist had a bit too much fabric and because of my build it looked poofy. I wore a cardigan, buttoned at waist to offset that look.

The print is great for summer and vacation. I wish this had come in a 00! The dress and Jcrew sizing in general runs large.

Cute and comfy but I thought it ran big - sort of felt like I was drowning in fabric. Wore for a bridal luncheon and it definitely has picnic vibes

The dress is super comfortable but gets a little hot. My main complaint is that the waist isn't as fitted as I would have liked, making me looks rounder than I am especially because I have a bigger chest. Always wore it with a bra otherwise made me look flabby. But nonetheless I wore it and felt cute and girly and got many compliments on it. Also the zipper got caught on the fabric a couple of times which was difficult to release.

Enjoyed this dress for day time / everyday. Comfortable, fun print. It is a little long if you are shorter (I'm 5'1) but totally fine. Adjustable straps which is super helpful!

Loved this dress and would still recommend it! Only removed a star for the bottom half. It was a little too much material on the bottom half and a bit unflattering at certain angles. I'm 138 lbs, 5'4, 36B and rented a size 4. Fit perfectly!

Very flows, material is soft and comfortable. I'm 5'9" and hits me right at my shins (pretty long for a midi). If I owned it, I would definitely have the waist taken in - wish it was a little more cinched!

Great length, but lots of fabric waist down! Not the best choice for hot summer days.

It was a fun dress, the straps adjustable and can be dressed up or down. There was a lot of neck exposure so plan accordingly:)

I rented this for work and it's definitely a touch long for a 'midi' length for a petite gal, but it looked great with heels and a blazer for work. Would also be SUPER cute with no blazer and heels for a wedding, etc. The top is kind of a bustier type style but no boning. Straps are adjustable which came in clutch!

This dress is a no brainer (J. Crew, gingham!) and it lived up to my expectations. But what I didn't expect is that the material is totally magic and does not wrinkle at all. I wore it all day working at a cafe on the hottest day of the summer and then for a 2 hour hot sunny car ride, and it looked as good as new! Loved it and would consider keeping it if summer wasn't almost over.

Fun and preppy. Great for a hot day but probably wouldn't fit for any large chested girlies.

I paired this dress with a cardigan for work. The fit is very flattering.
