Navy Pleated Gown

This dress flows beautifully and the pleats are perfect. The dress is long with a small train so you would have to wear heels.

I wore this dress to a fine portrait session and I was so happy with my choice. It fits beautifully and the color is absolutely stunning. The dress was a perfect length for me and I’m tall. I received so many compliments.

Fit was great. A little bit long for me but with heels worked out. Did come with a snag in it but noticed it too late but ended up being fine. Lots of compliments on this dress. And comfortable!!

I ordered a 16, only 12 was available as a backup. 16 didn’t ship, tried on the 12 for shiggles and it was snug but definitely wearable and this was really the dress I wanted to wear. Must go strapless - racer back straps still showed. The zipper is tough at the gathered spots but it made it.

I wore this to a gala for work and it was perfect -- fancy without showing too much skin for a work event. I'm normally a 10/12, but probably could have worn an 8 as the fabric and cut is very forgiving, though a little loose on top (not problematic). The dress does not show any bumps or lumps, which was very nice. Would def rent again!

Loved the color, the pleats were very distinctive (one other attendee was wearing a different Mac Duggal gown and she recognized this from across the room). I am 5’7” and had 4” heels and I still had to pick the dress up in the front to avoid stepping on it. If you are part of the IBTC then definitely add some padding to your bra because this will definitely look weird on a flat chest. I’m a pretty flat B cup and I wore a bra one cup larger and stuffed gel cutlets in there to fill out the front. Worth it though!

Absolute stunner of a gown and super comfortable. I ordered a 10 based off reviews of it running a bit large, and it was perfect for me at 6 weeks postpartum when my street size was probably closer to a 12. The top definitely favors a larger bust, another win for those in postpartum. Would rent again!

Perfect for a formal wedding. I ordered the 6 and 4. Interestingly, the 4 was longer than the 6(?). The zipper on the 6 was stuck, so I had to wear the 4 (which fit well, but was too long for my 1.5” heels; i had to hold the dress up much of the afternoon/evening for fear of tripping. Comfortable, great color, tons of compliments. BTW-that’s my 92yo mother-she was the life of the party; she “danced” in her wheelchair all night😊

I wore this to a formal summer wedding, and it was nice and light! I’m a C cup, and the top was slightly baggy (nothing anyone else could notice, just me) so there is definitely room for bustier girls! I’m 5’9” and the length was perfect!

I’m a 12 with most things, sometimes I fit into a 10. With this dress I still needed to go down one more size. I’m a pear shape. This dress is made for larger chested women. Loved the look of it. Very classic and the color is gorgeous!

I wore this to a wedding and received many compliments! I fluctuate between a size 6 and a size 8. The size 8 arrived and the top/chest was too large and gapped. The 6 fit just right on top. It was comfortable and beautiful. I would rent again!

Wore this to my friend's destination wedding in Colorado. I loved almost everything about this dress! The color is gorgeous, the fabric is luxe, and it's super comfortable. I felt like a million bucks and got a ton of compliments. The only thing was that the dress was really long for my height (5'4") I paired it with platform shoes so that it wouldn't drag on the floor and that seemed to work well. I was also surprised that the size 8 worked well for me as I'm usually a 10 or 12. It was slightly tight in the waist, but overall a good fit.

I wore this beautiful gown for my daughters debutante ball and received many compliments. The waist is very fitted (trust the size chart!) but otherwise the dress is flowy, so it was comfortable all night. Length was perfect for me at 5’8” with 3” heels. Would rent again.

I’m usually between a 12-14. They didn’t have a 12 so got a 14 and needed a lot of Hollywood tape and some safety pins! A 12 or even 10 would have been better. But loved the dress and got so many compliments! It was very long too - plan to wear high heels!

This dress was comfortable, hid my tummy and is in a beautiful color. I am have a smallish waist, full chest, narrow hips and a curvy backside. I noticed very little difference between the 4 and 6, but chose the 4 because the armholes were a better fit for me. However, I wish I chose the 6 instead of the 4 due to eating dinner at the event as I could have used the extra space. I am between 5’6 and 5’7, and wore tall heels. The length was just right and even had a slight drag in the back. Overall satisfied.

I ordered a completely different dress in a size 16 that didn’t fit when it came so I requested a replacement dress and to my surprise RTR allowed me to pick two dresses to try. The one I picked was a size 18 but was alittle snug. This was my backup to my backup dress & I was so happy with it. It was true to size, size 16, with room to breathe. The photos don’t do it justice, the color was stunning & the fabric was so elegant. I received compliments all night.

The size 8 is what I usually wear and the torso of the dress fit great. The arm holes was super low cut however and I had to scramble to find undergarments that dipped low enough. I’m 5’5” and even with tall heels this dress was dragging all night. The color is beautiful and the pleats stayed nice and crisp, even after shipping.

Dress fit perfectly other than I had more room in the top than I would like. But you couldn’t tell that at all. Perfect length for a low heel on me. A tad too long for flats.

I am 5’9” and this fell about an inch short when wearing 2” heels. Awesome color & I received a lot of compliments on the pleated look.

Too long, too big. The quality is excellent, so I'd suggest sizing down at least one size. The waistband fits truer to size, so I wouldn't go more than one size down initially

I am a true 14 and the 14 was HUGE on my I had to pin it on the inside to make it work but still a gorgeous dress

Rented for an old Hollywood theme auction. I wore the 4 because it was a little snug in the ribs/no stretch but 2 could have been fine too. Both sizes were incredibly long even with a tall heel. (I am 5’5”) The fit in the chest was a little awkward/pouchy as well, but… I couldn’t help but still wear it because the color was vibrant teal and the fabric was gorgeous. Photographs well but clunky to wear.

The back of this dress has a long “train” which is unfortunate because the front fit perfect length for 5’5”. If you have a slimmer figure this fit also just has a lot of fabric. Didn’t wear

This dress is gorgeous! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the zipper. There is NO way I could have zipped this alone. It was a serious struggle for my husband to zip it. I typically wear a size 6 but this dress is so forgiving in the hips and legs that I wore the size 4. The top of the 6 would have been a little loose on me, but even with the extra space, the zipper was still a struggle. The color is a perfect match to House of Colour’s Marine Navy for any other HOC Autumns searching for the elusive blue!
