Laurel Button Up Dress

This was a fun dress for my bridal shower and for great. Was TTS. The V is deep, but did not find it to be revealing

Great staple dress

The length and fit made this dress so flattering. The pockets were hidden as not to create the illusion of wider hips. I did have to pin the neckline for a more conservative event.

This dress combines classic tailoring with some elevated touches like the twist front and puff sleeve that take it to the next level. A few warnings: It wrinkles VERY easily, and required extensive ironing to be wearable that went out the door as soon as I got out of a chair. The twist front is low and I think might be revealing for someone with a bigger chest- I was worried about my bra showing all day. And it is WHITE WHITE - any speck or spill will show! Otherwise, a very elevated and beautiful profile dress that would work nicely for a variety of special occasions.

As you can see from the pic, the pockets puffed out and laid weird. I am small chested so I didn't have an issue with the top like some other reviewers. I received this as a brand new item, but I can only imagine once RTR receives it and cleans it, whoever receives it next is going to receive a wrinkled mess.

Loved it and it fit, except I had to keep pulling one of the sides over to make sure it covered everything, especially when sitting down and not standing up straight.

Once you get over the fact that the neckline is poorly designed, it’s actually a lovely dress and fits well elsewhere. I liked the sleeves, collar, waist and length. I liked that I didn’t feel like a bride/bride to be in it; just someone who wants to wear an all white dress just because. Definitely TTS in the waist so if you’re between sizes or carry more weight in the ab area, I would recommend sizing up (but that could lead to the neckline being even more weird). Safety pins and a minimizer bra helped. I’m sure boob tape would be even better but I didn’t want to deal with the removal process. I had to do multiple passes with my steamer but just accepted that it would be a little wrinkled.

It’s a very cute dress, and probably looks amazing in someone who is really tan, but on me it just looked okay. I’m between a 12/14 and I sized up to a 14 and it’s still snug.

Falls beautifully and has a gorgeous silhouette. It was understated elegance. I received tons of compliments. Given recent weight gain, I probably could have sized up though the dress is TTS. That said, waist/ torso area is snug and not very forgiving, so the v-neckline may bunch up when you sit down and be a bit revealing.

Loved the look of this. Wasn't able to wear a bra but it worked. The fabric is thick and, although it wrinkles easily, looks good on. It was tight in the waist/hips and not great for sitting for a long time.

I didnt end up wearing the dress because it was too small in the chest area and could not zip it up. it is a beautiful dress though. Wish i could have worn it.

Great for everyday and can be dressed up. Wore a cami under because of a low neckline.

A bit low in the front but it worked.

Loved this, wore it in the hottest part of the New York summer. It’s so versatile, I wore it for work, for a date, for a more formal event. Looks great with flat or healed sandals. It is low cut, but works great with a vanity top if you want to wear it for work (i’m 34 DDD and it was fine with a vanity top underneath).

Runs small for me. I could zip my usual size but it was uncomfortable. Five stars still because it’s a lovely dress and will be very flattering with the next size up!

The fit on this dress was immaculate for me! I wanted to buy it. The perfect crisp, cotton, white dress for summer occasions.

Thought about buying but don't wear a lot of white dresses. Got a ton of compliments on this dress and hit at a perfect length for tall girls! Fit perfect

A little tight around the ribs. Beautiful dress. Might want to size up.
