I rented this for my winter formal and I got a size 2! It was a little big so I would recommend sizing down just one. I got so many compliments and loved this dress so much!

The size 2 was perfect. Felt like it runs true to size. Best to have significant heels as it is a long dress. Very happy with the dress for my event!

This dress was so flattering, but order a size down. The velvet is stretchy and so comfortable.

Smaller backup size worked best for me

The dress fits well. Looks very classy. If you’re light chested you might wana pin up the halter at the back. Fabric very comfortable

Initially got the 16 and it was way too big. Ended up in the 12 and had so many compliments. Had to use some serious fashion tape for a bra-less lift. (That was after this photo). A truly lovely, flattering, classic look. I would absolutely rent again.

I wore this dress to a black-tie wedding and received countless compliments throughout the evening. The fit was true to size—both forgiving and incredibly flattering. It’s the perfect choice for a formal event, with a deep plunging neckline, subtle ruching in the midsection, and a high leg slit that strike just the right balance of elegance and allure. The rich maroon color is stunning, and the dress is surprisingly comfortable, making it a great combination of style and comfort.

I ordered the 6, with the 4 as my backup. I wore the 4. It was still a bit big. I pinned the neck and bust to show a little less skin. It was SUPER comfortable, wrinkle-resistant, and eye-catching. It’s beautiful on the move too. I received lots of compliments.

Seriously, this dress was a 10/10. Incredibly comfortable, beautiful color, soft fabric, great length, and low cut without feeling like I was going to have anything fall out. It was slightly too big in the waist, but due to the ruching in the front, it still gave the illusion of a fitted waist.

Comfortable dress that hugged in all the right places. Dress tape was used to secure things, knowing I’d be dancing but don’t think it was necessary, as the dress material is good quality and thick. Length of dress was appreciated, nearly floor length even with 3” heels. Perfect for a fall or winter wedding/special event.

Was able to wear a strapless bra which is a huge plus. Went with the smaller size. Went great with gold shoes and accessories. Comfortable as I had to wear for about 7 hours.

Wore this for a disco-inspired gala. The cut was absolutely gorgeous and length perfect. The dress had some very slight bunching at the bottom of the back zipper but if I sized up the dress would’ve been swimming. Definitely going to rent again. I might even buy this one!

You will never wear a more comfortable dress! Soft and stretchy and just beautiful. I wish I owned it! True to size and didn’t hit the floor for me which was nice not to have to pull it up all night (I’m 5’7). You may want to size down if you want it to hug your curves or pull anything in. It’s very forgiving!

I am five months post partum and was honestly really nervous to go to a wedding as I have not gotten down to my pre baby size- this dress made me feel incredibly sexy and was beautiful. I got so many compliments, it hugged in all the right places and was so comfortable. I wore a 10 but could’ve gotten away with an 8, but this was a replacement dress- regardless was really perfect!

This was for Black Tie Optional. I was excited to fit in the 8 as I just lost 15 1lbs. It fit perfectly until I started dancing, the top was a bit big. I could have used a 6. I’m an athletic build so dresses can be frustrating but this was absolutely perfect. It’s soft and stretchy and the material gathers around the mid section perfectly. I didn’t even need spanx! I used adhesive bra cups. Soooo many compliments! My only complaint is I had to give it back! Will totally rent it again if I need a dress like this.

I was worried it’d be too big based on other reviews but it actually worked out perfectly — the dress is super comfy but definitely long on me so I had to wear heels higher than normal. Perfect for the occasion though!

I got a size up to make sure it fit, but should've gotten my actual size because the bust gaped when I sat down.

This amazing high end designer gown was such a beautiful shimmery velvet! It had the old Hollywood glamor look and was very comfortable all night! It is a deep v cut but I went braless and paired this with a leopard bolero jacket & rose choker for an extra vintage vibe. A very good stand out dress! I think the touching is good for curvy girls as well!

The fabric is gorgeous - deep purple color, just enough stretch, beautiful drape. The cut is very flattering - the front ruching hides the tummy, the back is low enough to be sexy but too low. So many compliments!

I would get pasties for this dress since it’s a pretty deep-V. I really liked the thickness of the fabric so I could forego any shape wear. I really enjoyed wearing it and found it to be really comfortable.

This dress was beautiful but I ended up not wearing it because it was way too much cleavage for a work event. (Photo is the try-on, no bra) Perfect for a wedding guest dress or a nice date. The velvet was so extremely comfortable and I wanted to wear it so badly!! I usually run between a size 6 in a size 8. This dress runs much bigger, like all the other reviews say. I ordered both a 6 and a 4 and ended up fitting perfectly in the 4- fit like a glove. I would absolutely rent this again for the right occasion.

This dress was comfortable and sexy! Got like a glove and the favor of was very forgiving. It had just the right amount of ruching which helped keep the belly a little hidden. You need a low cut strapless bra!

I’m a true size 8 and sized down to a 6 and the 6 fit like a glove! slightly long but with temporary hemming tape, it was easy to hem up for the event

I got a 14 but could have worn a 12 because I’m Small up too.

I felt like a MILLION bucks in the dress!! It fit like a glove and was super flattering. I went with the smaller size - there was some stretch to the material and I felt that it fit better a size down. The velvet made it really warm for a snowy night. I want to buy this dress!!

This dress was incredible! I think the dress looked great on my pear-shaped frame and made me feel amazing. I probably could have gone with a size 4 because the top was a little lose, and it was too long with my 2" heels. The top lays well when standing up, but I had to use double stick tape to keep by stick-on bra from showing every time I sat down. Definitely would recommend!

I loved this dress! It was the most comfortable and flattering fit. I got so many compliments on it! That being said, I had to size down and the dress still fit a little big on top!

This dress fit like a glove and was very beautiful. Flattering on my body and the haulter top + velvet were my favorite. The color of the dress was true to the photos. I was fearful of being over dressed. The photos did not depict the slit to be as large as it was in person and it was a little revealing. Also the rueshing down the front / center reminded me of a dress I wore in 2006 and felt like I did not want to re-live that era…. Ultimately I did not wear the dress to my event but it was beautiful!

This is a beautiful sexy dress. Not appropriate for a work formal event due to plunging v neckline. The color is gorgeous and the velvet feels so cozy. This dress was way to long on me.

I may buy this dress. It was perfect in every way. I wore 2 in heels and it was touching the floor on my 5’2 frame. Amazing color.

I normally wear 12/14, but I was very comfortable wearing the 10 in this dress. I received many compliments. It was both upscale and rich, while also being very comfortable. The only minus was that I wish the leg slit was over a leg and not in the middle.

Beautiful!!! Cannot tell you how gorgeous I felt in this dress! I do have a large bust so was a bit worried about the plunging neckline, but boob tape did the trick! They held all night long!!! Runs big, size down!

The 16 fit almost the same as the 14. Stretchy, very comfortable, flattering. Not long (a bit short for me but I am 6'2"). Too low for a regular bra but the halter helped with lift (I wore stick-ons).

I’m normally a size 4 and this was definitely a bit too large but it still looked amazing.

So many compliments! It was slightly big in the back but I prefer that than slightly tight. The halter look was extremely flattering.
