Fit beautifully and the fabric stretches
So you have room to move and dance in it which I did!!

It is low cut so that part took a little getting used to for the night. Wear a bra that is low in middle so it doesn’t show. 

Got the M and L and went with the M-- fit so nicely! The dress is a little stretchy, so doesn't feel constricting. Got SO many compliments! Wore it to my surprise birthday- which ended up being a Murder Mystery 20s party. Was perfect! 

This dress is even prettier in person! I will say, I have a very small chest and it was tight in the chest area. If your chest is larger than a small A cup, an XS will not fit. It fit comfortably everywhere else! 

Loved it! I'm usually an 8-10, and this was the right size. It has a lot of structure but also some stretch. Very flattering, lots of compliments. I ordered again as a back up for an upcoming wedding I had 

Beautiful dress covered in sequins so it has some weight to it.  The cap sleeves might inhibit  raising your arms to dance tho! 
Loved the length, would like to see more below the knee dresses offered on RTR.
Definitely need assistance getting the zipper all the way up.

I'm 5"7 and at time of photo weighed 209. Everyone loved the dress as I received many compliments. I am a 36G and had no problem sporting this dress bra less.

This dress was beautiful!  Fit perfectly!  Customer service was amazing when I accidentally ordered for the wrong date.  The only downfall, I didn't get to wear it!  The party was canceled due to dumb Covid-19 virus.  I'll order again if it gets rescheduled after all this!!

I love the length. At 5'9 it is difficult for me to find dresses that hit at the right length. This one was perfect!

This dress is absolutely beautiful but heavy.  I wouldn't wear it in hot weather.  This fit me like a glove and I felt totally hot in it.  Lots of compliments.

I wore this to sneaker ball. I wanted a cocktail length to show my sneakers. The sequins and subtle hints of blue were a fun addition.

I wore this dress for a performance and it was PERFECT.  It is very low cut so just make sure you get the right bra but the photos DO NOT do it justice.  It sparkles, and has just the right amount of stretch.  The length is so classy and almost gives a vintage vibe which is exactly what I was going for.  (and it was comfortable!) I am keeping my eyes pealed for when it goes  on sale because I need it.  I will DEF be renting more Dress The Population dresses in the future - what a great find.  Thanks, RTR!!! 

Quality dress with some heft but not uncomfortably heavy. Could have gotten away without wearing a bra but decided to wear one (and it didn't show even though this is a v neck). Not constricting even when sitting down or after the meal. Very pretty and classy.

The pictures don’t do this dress justice. It is so gorgeous in person, and I felt lovely wearing it.

Beautiful color and pattern in a nice stretchy material! The sequins were a little scratchy but I forgot about it after a while.

Tons of compliments on this one. I loved wearing it! The front was a bit low and showed my bra at some points, but I went with it. The sequins are thick enough that I could have went without, though. Really beautiful dress!

I would buy it but it’s really a one time wear dress. And one that won’t be forgotten soon. I got so many compliments and I felt like a queen. 

The dress fit well and seemed very well made. I didn't choose this one because I didn't feel like wearing a sequined dress to this wedding. 

Delivery was perfect timing! I loved that I got to have two size options available. I am 5’8” and 190 I went with the XL as it was just a bit more comfortable. The Large would have worked fine but I do not like anything too tight or constraining especially if I will be wearing for a long time. I got so many compliments and felt so elegant!

Was thrilled with this dress. It fit great and was very flattering. Good amount of sparkle but the dark color made it not be over the top. 

I received so many compliments on my dress! It is very sparkly and surprisingly comfortable. I went with one size up and it felt great. One note - it showed a bit more cleavage than I wanted but it wasn't over the top.

I'm a curvy size 14 and this dress fit perfectly! Only issue is that the dress has an invisible zipper and you may need an extra hand to zip it up. It shows my cleavage just the way I wanted it to. Can't go wrong with this one!

The dress fit like a glove and was absolutely gorgeous. Just enough cleavage (which is hard to come by in a dress for a busty girl) but still had great coverage. The fabric had enough stretch in it that I was pretty comfortable sitting or standing all night. I would rent again and definitely recommend!

I wore this to a banquet at a convention and got a ton of compliments. Loved the fit! 

This dress is a bit on the heavier side due to all the sequins but not terribly uncomfortable.  I was really between sizes but opted for the smaller due to the deep V of the neckline.  In the larger size, it was super low and exposed way too much cleavage for my comfort level (this was a school-related affair).  Overall, it was form-fitting but due to the lining and sequins, it had a smooth look without any unsightly bumps or indentations.  I would recommend and I would rent again!

This dress is a perfect mix of blue and black sparkle! It's very sophisticated and flattering. Made me feel confident after not wearing formal dresses for 2 years since the pandemic. I received many compliments! 

This dress did not disappoint.  Very high quality with a very forgiving stretchy fit.  It has navy blue accents.  Prepare ahead with a plunge demi bra.  I received loads of compliments and felt great in it.  

I wore this for a formal Christmas Eve dinner.  Fit great and was comfy even though the dress is a but heavy since it is all sequins.  Low cut so I did make sure nothing was falling out periodically since I have a smaller chest.  But fashion tape would do the trick.  Well made staple dress that could be used for many occasions.  I will be renting again.

This dress fits perfectly and is true to size. It has a bit of stretch, so I felt like I could eat, move, and dance all night even thought it fit tightly. I wore a sticky bra but you could get by without one. In different light it looks black, or navy blue, or a combination. You can see the true colors in the last photo. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This was a last minute back up dress I chose but I was pleasantly surprised. It fit great and was low-cut enough to be a little sexy but still appropriate for a holiday party. Best part was i could still wear a regular bra with it making it more comfortable. The sequins were a little scratchy under my arms but tolerable for the night. I got lost of compliments!

This dress was perfect!!! It was very flattering and comfortable. The fabric was nice and thick for a chilly October evening and the sequins were beautiful! I received compliments all night and felt great. Highly recommend!

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but this dress is actually covered in sequins, so the bright spots in the “pattern” are actually reflections. Very fun dress, but a couple of caveats:
1 - the v neck is quite low. Took me a while to find a plunge bra that wouldn’t show.
2 - as others have mentioned, the sequins do tend to rub against the inside of your arm. It wasn’t too bad and there wasn’t any long-term irritation, but important to know if you’re sensitive to that. 
Would rent again!

Perfect fitting dress for wedding guest. Very comfortable. The only issue was the neckline and finding a bra that wouldn’t show and still hold the girls up.  I used some fashion tape and pushed it down and hoped for the best. Bra was invisible in pictures, but you could see it if someone looked over you.  Oh, well. 

This dress was a back up dress that I ended up not wearing because it is heavy and low cut.  You can wear a regular bra with it.  But I still have it four stars because it is a beautiful dress.  

The size 8/M fit perfectly with a touch of wiggle room. The dress itself was stretchy and forgiving, and I wore it comfortably all afternoon and evening. The only reason I hesitate to give it five stars was because the sequins irritated the underside of my arm just a bit, but it wasn’t awful. This was my first experience with Rent the Runway, and I was very pleased. The dress arrived with plenty of time to have requested a different size if the originals didn’t fit. I would definitely use this service again and encourage anyone who is unsure to give it a try. 

This dress is fitted, but supportive. It held the girls in place but was so flattering! I’m debating buying it to wear again because this was a DRESS. I wore it for a formal work event but my manager loved it so much she asked for the link to rent it for a wedding she’s going to. The sequins definitely rub on the arms a little, and you’ll need someone to zip it up. But it looks outstanding 

I got this dress in a medium and a large as back up. I’m a 36D and the medium was a bit snug but fit perfect everywhere else. The large was big thru my stomach and waist area. Overall, this dress is stunning! Perfect for a formal event or cocktail party! 

This dress was perfect for a work event I went to. The dress fit very nice although it was a little tight in the chest,I'm a DDD. You may need a lower cut bra or even some boob tape. I wore a full coverage Balconette bra and was fighting it all night. Nothing wrong with the dress, I should have worn a different bra. 

However it was a bit too long on the bust and shoulder. You will need a nu bra if you have a larger cup size. Very sexy overall.

Everything fit. Even though the hips were a little snug the stretch and compression of the dress let me wear it without spanx which I loved!  The arms were scratchy so after a couple hours I was glad to remove it   Wore a bra just to make the cleavage look better. It's pretty dang low but it was an anniversary dinner with my husband who loved it!  Win win! I might rent this again if I dropped 10 pounds!
