I love the split and the pattern that you can create in the sequins.

I loved the fit of this dress. It was perfect for my birthday week in Vegas! I received many compliments 

This dress was so much fun! It fit perfectly and was easy to zip up by myself. The slit wasn’t too high, which I had been worried about. It was a little warm to wear, but otherwise it was very fun!

Fits true to size (has stretch). Dip in the back is very pretty. Has shoulder pads and slit to high thigh. I like the silver and gold combo. Does somewhat hug and highlight lumps and bumps. Great for NYE.

Beautiful and elegant with a flattering fit. Perfect for a Monte Carlo themed event.

I wore this dress to a wedding and it’s a show stopper. It has a bit of stretch so did well on my shape. It was comfortable and fun. I didn’t worry about the sequins snagging or laying flat. It has some weight and would be hot in warm weather. 

I felt like a walking trophy. I ordered the larger size and wore a shaper and the slit was still high. It had great weight to it and had good stretch; I danced all night. You have to keep the sequence smoothed in the same direction but it was much easier to maintain that than the pink version of this dress from RTR.

Similar to other reviews, this is a cold weather or max AC kind of dress as it has a lining. You can wear a normal bra. The sequins wont ever be perfectly flat, but you can do a bit, but you just have to go with it with a full sequin dress like this. Loved it, perfect for a holiday formal affair!  

Holiday party at work, compliments ALL night. This dress was the life of the party! Loved the fit, great for hourglass shape. Higher neckline with lower back (but easy to wear a normal bra), medium-high slit = perfect amount of sexy without being over done. Small is perfect for someone with a small frame - I carry my weight in my curves. Would definitely rent again. 

 I wear this to my movie premiere and everyone absolutely loved it

Wore this to my anniversary dinner at a fancy…perfect for a high-end restaurant-club scene.  Got so many compliments on this one.  It is fitted but not uncomfortable and the dress is structured but has stretch.  I want to keep this one

Super high gorgeous quality dress. A little on the heavy side, so would not recommend for a hot event, but perfect for a cool/winter party!

I chose this Dress the Population gold sequin dress for our 2022 winter family photoshoot. It was soft as a silk in the inside. No itchy sequin feeling. It had a good stretch while still staying form-fitting to my body. I’m 5’2”/133 lbs/34A bust and a small fit lovely. 10/10 would recommend for NYE party, wedding, etc! Loved it! ✨

I went with the L size on this one, the medium fit fine it was just tighter and the looser form fitting looked more appealing. 

Wore it to my baby shower and it was perfect. I think it fit true to size but really not sure since I was pregnant. I was actually expecting to wear the XXL but the L fit very well. 

Rented to NYE, and it for like a glove. Heavy material with fun texture.

This dress is the equivalent of the pants from the sisterhood of the traveling pants. It's true to size and doesn't discriminate if you're full figured, thin, or average. As long as you're honest with yourself and choose the right size you can't go wrong

Fit beautiful, felt great (no scratchy sequins), so many compliments! 

This dress fit great, true to size. It was stretchy in the right ways, super flattering, and I felt great all night long. It was a little warm, so it was perfect for my winter gala - New Orleans Masquerade theme. I felt like a million bucks and got tons of complements. 

I wore this to a Christmas pop up bar for my birthday! Very reflective, I felt like a disco ball. The dress is super stretchy! 

Fit my large chest well, accented my long legs and flattered my curves! Also super comfy and not itchy AT ALL, despite being covered in sequins 

Rented this for a vegas weekend and received tons of compliments. Not itchy at all. Material is thick with lining , so Might get too hot during summer months 

Stretch was amazing. I was a little nervous at first because I'm normally a size 12-14, I ordered the Large (10-12) was all that was available. It was a perfect fit, loose enough to move in comfortably and tight enough to show my curves. 

This dress didn't disappoint. Don't wear if you don't want everyone talking to you about your dress! Very comfy and looked better on that I thought it would. Very pleased.

Used this for a photo shoot. Amazing fit perfect for curves. Looking fantastic on camera. I would say the only downside was that it was hot in 85 deg weather. 

Fit is true to size. The inner lining is very comfortable. The material is quality so don't worry about losing glitter or sequence off of the dress.

This dress was amazing. It fit my body and the part really well. The slit was high, but not so much that I was nervous about showing any unintended skin. I loved the fit, the length and the lining. It was very comfortable. 

This dress was killer. It fit like a glove. I wore it to a costume party. I went as Ginger from Casino. It's fun, sexy, playful, and sophisticated. 

I wanted a gold dress & it was less “gold” and more like a metallic silver. However, it worked for what I wanted to achieve and I got tons of compliments!

So I ordered this for a sun themed party and it arrived silver. So I wore it as an alien. 👽 halfway through the day I moved the sequins and realized it’s gold one direction and silver the other. It’s a lot of work but hopefully that helps if you need it silver/gold. Either way, fun dress.

I wore this to chaperone prom at the high school where I teach. I was a little concerned that the slit was too high (it seems higher in person than it appears in the photo), but because it was covered on top, it was occasion-appropriate. It has an open back but I was able to wear a regular bra with it. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, 27" waist and 36" hips (mostly booty), and the Small fit perfectly. Sequins are both silver and gold, so I could have gone with silver or gold shoes, but the black looked good as well. Dress is heavier-weight so a little warm but not too bad, even for an indoor event in May in the Bay Area. Really loved this rental!

Very well made dress, it's thick and heavy so not the best option to pack with me to Mexico, but I needed something flashy for a special birthday dinner. It hugs curves in just the right ways, and because it has some thickness, I didn't have to wear shapeware under it which was nice. Slit did run high on me but was fine for the occassion. Considered buying!! Tons of compliments

This had such rave reviews but I didn’t feel good in this. It is WOW very metallic but I have an hourglass shape and the waist felt boxy and loose and the shoulder pads made me feel big. If i owned it I wouldve taken shoulder pads out. I also wished I had a small to try although Im usually an 8/medium. Im only 5’5”, maybe it would make more sense on someone more tall (although slit would be very high). If was also hard to get sequins looking right and in right direction. 

Loved the dress, so comfortable and was gorgeous!
