I was very pleased with this dress and got lots of compliments. The bust is structured so that may be uncomfortable for some. Also form fitting through the hips so somewhat constructs movement. The adjustable straps were a plus. The dress code for the event I wore it to was "elegant summer chic" and I think this for the bill. I neglected to check any labels, but pretty certain this is polyester or another synthetic fabric so it does not breathe and can be hot for an outdoor summer affair. Loved the embroidered flower details.

Beautiful fit, elegant dress. Very structured on top.

Had tons of compliments will definitely reorder it ☺️

This was one of four dresses I ordered and it was the one I chose to wear to a friend’s wedding. It was tight on me, but was a great shape. Though it was slightly uncomfortable, I appreciated that it had structure. I would recommend it for people with similar body types. As far as length, I am 5’7” and wore four inch heels. The dress was a few inches shorter than floor length on me, but I didn’t think it looked too awkward.

Overall really loved it! Mine came in an M and an L (when I was ordering I ordered an 8 and a 10) the M was perfect up on the chest but was super tight around my butt. The L was perfect around the butt but very big up on the chest. I went with the L because it was just more comfortable to move around in, I just made the straps tighter I don’t love when the straps go up a lot it kind of makes me look wider up top too when I barely have “girls” lol. But either way I got a lots of compliments and am super happy with this service! It was my first time renting with this app and I will for sure be renting again! :)

Very pretty dress with a corset top. Nice material. Has a zipper in the back with a clasp. Worn to a formal wedding. I’m between a size 6 and 8 but mainly wear 6. This is my second time renting a DressThePopulation dress and I really like the brand. I wore the SP. I also got the MR (second picture). The small and medium both fit well. I probably could’ve worn either. The MR was a little loose and came to the floor with my 3 inch heals so I went with the SP. The SP was a little snug but I like a more form-fitting look and I liked the length. If I got a MP it probably would’ve worked too. Probably get a petite size if you are 5’2’ or shorter (and depending on what shoes you wear).

Wore this as Mother of the Groom for their Italian garden wedding theme. I had on 3.5 inch heels and the length was perfect for me (I'm about 5' 3/4" tall). Snug up top (my bust measures 36.5) but not uncomfortable at all. I'm 62 and don't have the waist I once did (it's now about 29") . There is no way I would have fit into the small - sometimes I am in between sizes ( 6 on top/ 4 on bottom) The waist seam measuring just across the front looked smaller by a good 3/4" or so . Anyway it's a lovely dress and I would rent again :)

This was perfect for a black-tie, summer wedding. It is really high quality! The chest was a little wide and it’s definitely tight in the waist but the fabric is thick enough that it masked any fit issues.

Perfect for a summer black-tie affair! Got many compliments and was mostly comfortable throughout the night. A teensy bit tight in the mid section so I probably should have sized up! However, the length was perfect in heels for a shorty like me.

I wore XLR and normally wear a size 10. It was a tad small, but I was able to fit in it. Recieved numerous compliments. Beautiful dress

The dress worked, but the sizing was weird imo. I ordered a M and a L. Both sizes had a weird ammount of extra fabric in the chest area (and I’m a 32f). The medium fit my waist (so that’s the one I wore) and I just tightened the straps which worked. It was also extremely uncomfy. BUT it looked good and I got compliments. Would not rent again.

This was a beautiful wedding guest dress! Wore it for a formal outdoor wedding - it is prettyyyy tight in the waist/chest since it's a corset top but it wasn't so uncomfortable I felt that I needed to take it off. Rent it!

Slightly too big for me up top but gorgeous
I have no idea how this size small wouldn’t zip up. Like, at least one inch away at the top. It was otherwise perfect and gorgeous and I’m sad I didn’t get to wear it.
This dress is INCREDIBLE. I wore it to a black tie wedding and received compliments all night. The corset top snatches you in and the overall shape is incredible flattering. I also loved that the straps were adjustable. Overall 10/10 I will rent this again
This dress gave me curves I don't have. I wore a strapless bra with it and it barely got in but I did it!
wedding
none
This dress is cute however the straps were uncomfortable because I had to shorten them to fit better. The bust area is rather large.
Too tight to zip up but so beautiful in person. Corset-like bodice and quality fabric.
This dress was beautiful! Loved the adjustable straps but it didn’t fit quite right because the bust was built for someone with a larger chest than me (34A1/2-B). I could have made it work but ended up wearing a different dress instead.
Took a risk with the last size available but didn’t wear it because it was too big.
Pretty dress and loved the length since I am short, but the top of the dress has ZERO wiggle room. Got it zipped, but was hard to take a deep breath! I did not wear it to the event, had backups sent urgently.
This is a pretty dress, certainly, but it wasn't quite as expensive looking as I'd hoped, something about the fabric overlay. The fit was also very strange on me. I'm 5'3" and nothing is EVER too short on me, and this dress was really short. The regular length hit me above the ankle which just looked odd. It was also really snug in the chest, in a way that sort of mashed my boobs down instead of hoisting them up. It made me look very wide and broad, didn't nip in enough at the waist. No stretch really. It's weird that a dress that's made to look sort of like a corset up top doesn't pull you in at the waist or lift your chest. I ended up wearing another rental. I'm probably 44" hip, 32" waist, 34c up top, muscular.
