Black Carmen Gown

I have gained some weight, and the thought of a formal dress stressed me out. This dress was so perfect and made me feel so great. Hugs all the right places and very flattering.

Totally lived up to my dreams! I typically wear a size 4, and the fit was on the verge of snug. Still fit perfectly, but if I were expecting a size 6 fit, I would probably size up.

Perfect for my Halloween party costume! Flattering fit except a little wide in the shoulders. Comfortable.

A tad long in 2" heels. Otherwise, nice fit. Definitely need a second set of hands to zip in and out.

It was a last minute event!! This dress fits beautiful however, around the chest area it was big and the sleeves were very long. I enjoyed wearing it.

I am 5'7", 180 lbs and wear a size 10/12. A pushup bar and some shapewear help set the dress off. I loved it and will definitely Rent the Runway for my next event.

It fit exactly true to size. The small was too tight to zip and regular was too short. The medium long was perfect for a tall girly like me. It was perfect for a luxury gala.

The shoulders slipped down some when I was seated but not off all the way. The wide neck design is very elegant, just need to be aware

Wore for a Halloween party, only the large was available in the long size. ML would have been a better fit for my frame if it had been available, but I'm glad I sized up rather than going with the regular because as a 5'10" person the bottom of the dress still just barely touched the ground. In any case it was still a beautiful and well made dress!

Dress it up with jewels and fun shoes. This is a great classy black canvas. The only downside is it has hip cut outs that are way too high for my long torso. But it can be worked with easily. Black hides everything. Lightweight and comfortable too.

Wore it as Morticia to a costume party, we won the costume contest. Super comfortable. Flattering. Want to keep it lol.

Worn for a military ball and was perfect, a little short in the arms, plus would advise getting it in a long if you are tall or wearing tall heels, a little roomy in the chest if you are smaller

Just barely fit in the chest area but created nice support! It was a fun-energy dress for a black tie family wedding in Savannah. Me being cheeky in the photo but it’s the best one I could get with the slit. Definitely recommend!

Wore the dress for a black tie event at the Philly Auto Show. Perfect fit, easy to move (and dance!) around in, would definitely rent again for another event! I’m pretty short, but I had 4 inch heels on that helped the gown from dragging. Lost a bunch of weight over the last couple years, really wasn’t sure what size I’d be, so glad this one fit. And the little extra stretch it has definitely helped. 😂

I loved this dress and got many compliments. It was simple but elegant. I am a 36/B and the chest was a little big, but nothing stuffing with some swimsuit pads couldn’t fix. :) Also it was shorter than I would have liked. I’m 5’ 6” and it barely touched the floor without shoes, so with heels I would have like it longer. Should have gotten the Tall. But overall was very happy!

I’ve never used a service like this before until NOW! Did a one time rental for our military ball, and so glad I tried it out! The dress was the perfect fit, it was so comfortable, and just the right length. Shipping was quick and so dang easy to return. I thought the reviews were most helpful to see others’ photos. This dress was just beautiful, and I got so many compliments.

Perfect for a dressy evening or black tie event. Slit was a little high so I wore panty hose. Fit was great!! Steamer didn't cut it for wrinkles so I had to iron from inside. Good sturdy material and Long enough for tall girls!

The long just hit the floor for me with 1 1/2” heels. (I’m 5’6”). Snug in the body but stretchy and did not need a bra. There are little rubber strips on the shoulders which kept them in place. Even with as high of slit as it is, I’m comfortable in it. These were try in pics, not the event night itself.

Tight in all the right places . Slit is a nice detail, gives it a little oomph . Material is on the thicker side, definitely wouldn’t wear on a hot summer day but it’s perfect for fall/winter .

The petite fit quite nicely and hugs you in all the right places. The only issue is that the shoulders had a tendency to slide off and I had to adjust throughout the night. But otherwise it's a beautiful dress.

This dress was just absolutely gorgeous. I wore it for a black tie event in Los Angeles and it was the perfect elegant choice. The velvet is so timeless, and the off the shoulder sweep of the dress... just wow! Received so many compliments, and the nature of the velvet and fit were so flattering and forgiving as well. I would love to own it!

I wanted long sleeves but to still look and feel sexy. They didn't have my true size small, so I had to try the XS petite. It fit like a glove. A little tight in the arms and had to work the zipper. But overall I was pleased with this dress and felt amazing and confident in it (and warm!) all night!

There was absolutely NO ONE that did not like this dress. I tried to find someone. Really. Perfect post divorce revenge dress and I'm not even divorcing. No bra, has a bit of a squared off dress but it was fine and I'm busty for my size. Perfect length, comfortable, sexaaaayyyy. Can't say enough. Rent it!

Fit true to size. Heavy, quality material that had some stretch which made dress comfortable. Slit in leg was a little high for my middle-aged legs. Perfect, elegant dress for NYE Gala that had a James Bond Casino Royale theme.
