Joaquin Dress

Wore this to a gala and paired with a pair of heels. I'm short but it didn't drag.

Got so many compliments all night. In petite and the dress fit beautifully. Didn't overwhelm my short frame. Will def rent again.

This gown radiates Old Hollywood glamour and is sure to turn heads with its stunning style. The sequins bring a touch of depth and elegance, while the asymmetrical neckline adds a sophisticated, flattering silhouette. However, it offers no built-in bust support, so a strapless or adhesive bra is necessary. The sizing runs slightly larger, fitting more like a 4-6 than a true 4, particularly around the waist. For taller individuals, the length may be disappointing. At 5’4”, the regular-length hem just grazes the bottom of my ankle and the top of my foot. On a positive note, the gown is fully lined, adding to its overall quality and comfort.

I loved how beautiful this dress was! It was a little big but better than being a little small. I loved the length and hot many compliments. The side arm strap slid down and it was a little scratchy under arm pits. However, the feel and look was well worth it! I wore it to a fancy restaurant to celebrate my 25th “silver” anniversary.

5’5” 125 lbs, 32DDD. Wore the medium, 3” heels. probably could have sized down for a more snug fit, didn’t even have to use the zipper, but was comfortable, and that’s a priority. A bit of scratch from the sequins if not careful, but worth it! A lot of modesty riding on the small/skinny strap. Had a tendency to fall after sitting and that could take the whole top with it, but ref prob should have had the small.

Great dress, but should have sized down. 🙂

I LOVED this dress and am sad to be returning it. It was show-stopping. While the fit was practically perfect, one of the "sleeves" fell off of my shoulder two or three times throughout the nice. However, the "sleeves" sit at just the right position to cover the straps of a regular bra. This dress is flattering, not itchy, and not heavy. I wore it on a cold night and think it did well not letting wind through the sequins but was by no means "too warm" to wear a different time of year.

Beautiful dress and would definitely recommend! The shoulder straps were a bit too long but nothing that wasn’t manageable.

Fit perfect and did not need to wear a bra the only issue was my left arm got a little rubbed raw from the sequins but it fit perfect and was BEAUTIFUL I didn’t notice until the morning.

Aside from that, this dress is a showstopper!!!

Absolutely loved this dress, wore it to my cousins black tie wedding. The strap is not adjustable so it did fall down pretty consistently but they can be an easy fix with fashion tape. Also, the sequins rubbed against the inside of my arm and I only noticed that because I have super sensitive skin but after a while it wasn't noticeable. I originally wear a 10 but lost a little weight prepping for the wedding so the size 8 backup was perfect. I got a lot of compliments and felt super sexy and classy in this dress absolutely you should get it!!!!!

I thought this had a nice shape but got voted down by my family. Very comfortable

This is beautiful, but it reminded me of a mother of the bride/groom wedding dress. It didn’t feel sexy, but it did feel glamorous I didn’t have an event to wear it for, so I didn’t keep it.

Wore it at my gala and felt like the star of the show. A little bit big on the top, so fell off a little, but gorg

Fit a little large comparatively - I am usually an S (4) not an XSP, but this fit like a glove.

Is a beautiful dress I did not realize that it had sequence all over it. It turned out to be too formal for what I needed. I love the asymmetrical neckline and the draping. You cannot go wrong with a DVF dress.

Wore this to a black tie fundraiser which was "Roaring 20's" themed. Perfect dress to fit in with vibe of party, yet still look classy, elegant and modern. Forgiving in the right places. Unfortunately did not get a full length picture of the dress but would rent again.

This dress was absolutely gorgeous, I got so many compliments. The dress actually is a navy blue underneath which compliments the whole dress.

Wore this dress to my company holiday party and received compliments all night! The dress is double lined with stretch so it was perfect for a long night! The fit is on the larger side so I would recommend sizing down. I was sad to return this beauty to RTR.

I did wear a strapless bra, but overall the dress was very comfortable. I wore a size M. The small fit, but it was more comfortable to go up a size.

It wasn't the knockout I expected, but it was nice for a cruise formal night. loose in the waist but I loved the sparkle.

Fit nicely, accommodated my six-month pregnancy.

It fit well, but the liner was too long and it stuck out at the bottom. Otherwise, loved the dress and it's comfortable.
