Black Smocked Dress

This was my most worn piece this month!! I got this to wear to the office and it was a bit on the fence in terms of length, so I ended up wearing mostly for evenings and weekends. I’m 5’9 and the sleeves were surprisingly OK on me! The drop waist is super flattering for less-curvy people so I def appreciated this! Looked super cute with ballet flats!!!

Purchased!! Def a little short for the taller gals but the flare at the bottom helps a bit.

I wore this to a friends birthday party and it was perfect! It cinches and flares in all the right places—so flattering. My only complaint is the length. I had to be very careful not to bend over or I would have flashed some people!

Super flattering dress and good for any occasion but longer than i was expected and neckline is a little awkward.

I can see why other reviewers said this dress wasn’t flattering. The dress was okay. It kept riding up and the neckline was loose on me so the tag would show. Overall it was okay and I received compliments but I wouldn’t rent again.

I liked this but didn't end up wearing it. The tight smocking on the waist wasn't flattering on me. Best for a more hourglass figure. It runs short

This is a really cute dress. It’s well made and the material is nice and smooth. It’s got some weight to it but it’s not too thick. I may have been able to get away with wearing it but my husband hated it so it was a nope. I paired it with nice tennis shoes and it was cute and more casual but if you have more slender legs, a heel would be a cute look. I liked the gathers that go up under the bust-line.

Love the neckline on this one. It’s a thinner material that can be dressed up or down so could work for all seasons. I wore this 6 months pregnant and loved how bump friendly it is. I’m 5’4 and it was definitely on the shorter side

This fits TTS - I'm between a 4 and a 6 and the 42 fit perfectly. It's short - I'm only 5'4 and I definitely needed boy shorts to feel comfortable. This means it wasn't that appropriate for a more formal workplace. I would rent this again when it's colder and wear it with tights. I think I would feel more comfortable with the length at work with tights.

This is a fun black dress I wore to a french themed cocktail party. It is fitted but the material is stiffer, so it didn’t hug too tight.

The cutest bump dress, got so many compliments and very comdortable. Highly recommend. Generally a 42, went up for 20 weeks.

Love this dress SO much!! Even though the size I got was just a little too small, I still wore it multiple times and got so many compliments. Will most likely rent again to try the size up and consider buying! It’s an all year round staple.

Love this dress pregnant! I am 6 months and it shows off the bump in the most tasteful way (and I do not love wearing tight things while pregnant). Will be wearing this to lots of occasions while renting!

This is a great dress. You don't have to worry about fit so much with the smocking.

Flattering fit. Hard to decide the best occasion to wear it. Material is more daytime but feels like a nighttime style - good late summer evening dress

The length and fit were great, but it rides up when you move! I didn't mind it but would not buy for that reason. If it didn't, it would be so versatile to so many different events.

I started RTR to refresh my work wardrobe. This dress isn't work appropriate but would be so cute for a date night or formal occasion!

the only thing I did not like about this dress was there was a horizontal seam in the middle of the smocked part that kind of stuck out

It was nice. It was tighter around the belly than I thought it would be so I threw on my shaper and was fine. Would wear it again.

Wouldn’t have been able to sit down in this one and the boat neck hem was unflattering
