Elyse Dress

I can’t say enough good things about this dress. It’s a more put together version of a sundress. A corporate button down turned into a hot summer staple. The pic posted shows the flaws in motion… gapping buttons when bending and truly short when seated. But I tell you, it doesn’t matter. That’s how adorable this little dress is. I kept it all summer and will probably buy it!

Stylish without being overwhelming. Fit is TTS and slightly on the short side for my 5’3” frame. Comfortable and did not get overly wrinkled.

i love derek lam and this dress was easy to wear and light which is on par for the brand. but this was a little too short even with flats.

I wore this while visiting my son. It was pretty comfortable, but I didn’t love the way it fit me personally. That said, I appreciated that it was an easy, casual piece perfect for running errands or grabbing lunch with friends.

Very thin

Crisp fabric, did need ironing with starch. So cute for casual running around. Loved it and wore it multiple times.

I wore to a weekend pool party with sparkly flat sandals. It was a tad snug in the chest but I was able to pull it off. Hubby said it was a tad see-through when I stood in the sun. I wasn't overly self-conscience about it but if in a different setting, I might have been.

I wore this one SO much in the month i had it, flattering, comfy & casual enough to wear for everyday, loved it!

Great shape, and not too short; gaps at chest though, even when sized up.

The cinch at the waist and the V neckline was very flattering without being too “sexy” (even though the bust fit a little snug). The dress has pockets and hit me just above the knee. I wore it with sandals but would even look cute with tennis shoes.

Good length even for a petite. Great for summer/warmer weather.

Perfect dress to throw on with cute sandals for a backyard barbecue or running to the store. Lightweight and flattering fit. Can be dressed up or dressed down. So tempted to buy this because it is honestly a closet staple

Tempted to buy. It’s a great summer everyday dress. Fabric is perfect and not see through. Only slight complaint is it wrinkles easy but still looks good to me!

I am pear shaped and this was small through my hips. I was able to wear but it was tight.

Dress up or down. So flattering w the sway back. Unfortunately needed to be ironed heavy duty before wear.

This was very flattering, but the top was a deeper cut and looser than I expected (the bottom fit well, so I don’t think I should have sized down). This meant you could see quite a bit of my bra and boob through the gap at the neckline if you were standing to my side. Definitely too short and low cut for work, but it was great for a summer bbq.

The buttons gape so could reveal your chest. It was too lightweight and almost see-through. Cute cut though but the fit was too small and I’m usually always an X-small in Derek Lam.

Might want a cami...pretty low cut for running errands and hanging out.

Cute summer dress. I am a 36C and the chest area requires pinning.

Wore to a birthday dinner and it was perfect! A little sheer and short on me, but I wore with thin shapewear underneath and loved it!

Liked it but because it’s a complete button front, there doesn’t seem to be a way to keep it from gapping at the chest. Like a lot.

Cute casual dress but size up especially if larger in the chest. Mine was too tight so I didn’t end up wearing.

People liked it on me but I didn’t love it on me. I’m small chested and it gaped. I’m fine with low neckline, i just couldn’t keep it from popping open, was uncomfortable to wear at the office bc of that. Otherwise it’s an ok little shift

Great when standing up but sitting down - very short and not enough buttons to keep all fabric in place

I’m not personally a fan of the ruching on the center of the dress. The length was a bit too long for me

A tad small where the buttons kind a opens up just a bit.

Thought I would try but it was pretty snug and just not my style so I didn’t wear.
