wore to a black tie work event / fit perfectly!

I wore this dress to a spring wedding in Southern California. The dress was a showstopper. Color is bold but not garish. Cut is flattering but not too revealing. Fabric is on the thick side so it was perfect for a spring late afternoon wedding. I got 2 sizes, S and M. I have broad shoulders so the S would not zip up. Thankfully the M fit perfectly. No need for bra.

I did have to wear a solid heel with this dress, but it hit at just the right length. I had a number of people compliment me, including one person saying "it looks like it was made for you." Highly recommend if you're short and need a last minute dress you won't have to hem or tape up.

Super delightful fit. I hosted an awards gala in this one, and it was perfect. Lots of great compliments on the color and fit. A little tight on the belly, but ya know, bloating!

The dress was true to size. The fabric was very comfortable and easy to wear. I am 5'5" and had 3 inch heels on, and the dress was almost too long. If I were going to wear it again, I would do a petite so that it isn't too long. I had many compliments on the dress!

Got so many complements on this dress when I attend a wedding in Italy. Gorgeous dress!!!

This dress is a showstopper. It’s my second rental from this brand and I absolutely love it. It fits true to the size chart, but it’s definitely made for smaller people. I usually wear an 8 or a 6, but I wear a large in this brand. Wear high heels if you’re under 5’8”!

This gown was my 2nd choice for the gala but I had a zipper malfunction with my 1st choice and this red gown did not disappoint. I wear a size 10 and ordered the L and the XL as a backup and had to go with the XL. I received many compliments and the fit was perfect.

Beautiful dress, thicker material and looks amazing on. Great quality, head turner received lots of compliments and would rent again 10/10. Usually between medium and large, I wore the large to have extra room to dance and so it would be more flowy!

I wore this for a formal Christmas dinner and dance at a Yacht Club in Florida. I am 5'7" and had on 2.5" heels (plus an air boot for a sprained ankle). The dress hit at a perfect spot for my height. The fabric is thicker than thin which makes it very forgiving. You can't wear a bra because of the cutout in the front but it was surprisingly modest and tight enough to hold the ladies in. I received many compliments and felt very comfortable all night. The split was perfect for dancing!

This was my first my attempt at finding a Cruella appropriate gown , one and done, success in the first try! The dress is SO flattering, great weight to the material/lining. I went with the XL based on other reviews, I had room but think the large would have been uncomfortable. I'm generally a medium in bottoms and large in tops. The leg slit and cleavage were both sexy but not over the top. All in all I loved this rental.

This dress was comfortable and made of a gorgeous red fabric. It was great for dancing and have a good time. I received tons of compliments on this dress. I would def rent it again.

This was a substitute to what I ordered but worked out great. They sent an XLR and I usually wear an 8 or 10 but it worked out and fit fine so it must run small. I am posting to show the tie collar worn with a pin which I really liked to be able to add.

The dress slipped on very nicely, and looked amazing on, the only comment I have is to make sure if you're planning on wearing this to have the knot practiced on how it's going to look when worn!

The photos of the model look like this dress is much more lightweight and flowy when in fact it is lined and pretty heavy. I added a rhinestone pin on the collar flap for interest.

This beautiful dress was a hit! Very easy to wear, no special undergarments necessary. At 5’6” , it was a little long for me but not dragging. The fabric is heavier, so best for Fall/Winter.

It fit snug but just right, was comfortable and the material was thick. The flow of the bottom half was very flattering. I ordered the MR (size 6) as well as a backup but the shoulder/chest area was gaping so the SR (size 4) was perfect for me. I would rent it again in a heartbeat. So many compliments!

Great for a military event. Got so many complaints. I was in between small and medium sizes, went with small which was a little tight in abdomen but the length was just right. Loved the neck tie.

I wore this to a black tie work event. I got a ton of compliments. It fit like a glove and even though it was a bit too long, it’s unusual I can find something I don’t have to alter as I’m 5’0.

Dress was a little tight around the hips but overall a great dress with a ton of compliments!

All of the bridesmaids at the wedding I went to came up and complimented me on the dress - girls I didn't even know! So classy and had great movement. Wore with 4 inch heels and you could see the first few toes

I loved this dress. The material is so thick and nice and sexy without overdoing it. I don’t get how some could fit in a size 2. I am 5’5” and weigh 125 pounds, DD chest and average built, and thankfully I had a size 6 dress to fit me. I wanted to purchase this dress afterwards but sadly cannot fit it to be available for purchase. The slit is not over showing but enough for a little sneak peek.

With shape wear and the weight of the fabric it’s flattering and comfortable.

Very dep cut, slit in the front, so I couldn't wear a regular bra with this. Otherwise beautiful dress with very nice fabric.

Loved this dress but it did feel a bit tight. Definitely try on and figure out the knot at the neck ahead of time.

Formal event the day after Valentine’s Day, Rent the Runway had it covered. Very fitted, but comfortable. Neckline did require some finagling to get the right shape wear/bra to be worn, but not seen. There was deep cut/bust area, but the tie on the top allowed me to “hide” the deepness of it. I could’ve done the next size up, but as this was a backup for my original dress sizes, it worked for the event.

Great dress, easy to move in, comfortable, and fun to wear. I would totally rent this dress again.

I usually wear a 6 or 8 in dresses but after reading reviews got the M and L sizes and I’m glad I did. The fabric is wonderfully sturdy but the medium was a little too snug around my stomach. At 5’7” it hit a few inches from the ground with heels on, good length. This dress was stunning for a formal gala, and I received compliments all night. Pay attention to the model photos to figure out how to tie the front, and definitely get this dress!

Love the fit and how the top ties. I wore “sticky boobs” not a bra and had no issues. Fabric is thick but not heavy, very comfortable. I received compliments on this dress all night. If you are on the fence, RENT THIS DRESS, you won’t be disappointed!

Wore this for a black tie wedding and received so many compliments! The neck cravat/tie piece is unique and requires minimal attention from time to time, but it sets the dress apart from so many others. Loved my choice and how I felt all evening!
