This was a nice dress but a little heavy. I am not a fan of the asymmetrical design because that side felt bulky and heavy.

It was a touch long on me, but overall good fit. Heavier material. Will be great for fall.
I loved the lining. The zipper was tough around the waistline where there was a seam internally overlapping with it. Would wear again for sure.
The material for this is heavy but it's a beautiful dress. I felt elegant and it didn't need a lot of accessories to look put together.
Everyone that saw me in this dress told me I looked wholesome, angelic, etc. The angled hem makes it a bit more interesting than your average dress. Fair warning, it's double lined (warm) and there isn't a lot of give. My menopausal puffiness got shoved into this one and it fit, but I did feel a bit "stuffed" into it.

Being forced to review
This is my favorite brand. The dress is pretty, but not my favorite Black Halo dress.
I wore this to a board meeting followed by an annual dinner for work. It felt professional but fun and just right for summer
Had some flair, but overall a basic white dress. It didn’t show through in the sun so appropriately lined.
I did not end up wearing it as it was 'a lot of dress' and material and much thicker than I expected
I got this for the office but it's really more of a cocktail dress. I'm 5'3" and would have needed some nights pointy heels to pull this off, since one part is longer than the rest and it just looked silly in flats. I also didn't realize there are a lot of seams and it was quite form fitting, so I was a little concerned about a "sausage" look - it didn't actually pull or squish me but I was concerned that between it being form fitting and the seams, it would give that impression. Good news is it was not see through at all. I wouldn't rent again but just because it's not the right length for me, would look good on someone with longer legs.
Dress is a very heavy fabric and surprisingly warm/hot despite looking like a white summer dress.
The match fit was 89% but it was still too tight but it is a beautiful dress and very very comfy
