Fit awesome. The material under the dress shows a bit, but otherwise the dress is a winner!

This is a fabulous dress! You can never go wrong with Black Halo fabrics and cuts. You can wear a bra with it. The slit is higher than you think, and the neckline is lower than you think. So, you have to be feeling very confident or you will be feeling 'very exposed.' Wore this to a gala with a lot of standing around, sitting, and hours of dancing. The dress was fabulous. They did not have the 2P but the 2R worked with 3 1/2 in. heels. Would rent this one again. The gold color is eye grabbing. There is nothing else like it.

I got so many compliments on this dress. It exudes sex appeal. It's very slimming with the ruffles and easy to dance in. I also loved the high slit on the side. I was worried about the fit since I'm a 34G. I had to go braless to fit the girls in! But it didn't feel like my boobs were falling out after zipping up. The dress is very revealing if you are full busted. So, if you're not comfortable showing a lot of skin, this probably isn't the dress for you.

Head turning classy dress. Received many compliments on the fabric and complimented my curvy petite figure. I would have preferred the 2P size but the 0P worked. The material has some stretch to it. The length was great for 3" heels. I used dress tape to hold down the cleavage but that's where the size up would have benefited. Either way Loved it!

Black Halo varies for me 14 or 16, this time the 14 fit. Didn't need the long, but didn't hate it either (probably should have worn heels). Very fun for an opening night!

I wore to a Mardi Gras ball a received lots of compliments. I found it to be flattering as I struggle with belly weight. The straps fell some and the lining at the slit sowed; however, great dress!

I wore this to a formal event and it was perfect. It is really gold, but looked beautiful and elegant. It was also in my suitcase for a long 13 hour flight, and still came out looking perfect. It was a bit long for me, so I used fashion tape to kind of "hem" it at the bottom by 2". The slit is perfect on me and not too high. I managed to wear a normal bra with it without any issues.

This fits and feels perfect. The material is amazing, it makes me look fantastic. Definitely worth the rental and true to size.

This one fit like a glove!! So many compliments at barristers ball (law school prom) I normally wear a 4 but the material is so forgiving I rocked the 2! Absolutely loved it

I loved this dress for my friends New years eve wedding. It does show the girls (which my mom commented), but I loved it. Did have to wear spanx as im bigger in my belly. But ai got so many compliments and it was stretchy and super comfy!

Fit as designed--I am 5'1 so needed the petite but was manageable in high heels. Comfortable. A lot of cleavage. A real show stopper in GOLD! (no one wears gold, everyone wears black or blue...)

I loved wearing this to a friend's wedding. Here are my notes: 1. Gorgeous color that photographs well. Someone told me I look like an oscar statue. 2. Fit true to size, a little stretchy, easy to move in, and fairly forgiving in the tummy area for a dress that isn't quite a-line. 3. The slit was fine while standing but very revealing when sitting down. My entire legs were showing during the ceremony. 4. Wasn't too long for me, even though I'm relatively short. I wore low heels for the ceremony and flats at the reception. 5. A little revealing in the chest if you have big boobs. (I don't mind showing them off though, so this was a plus for me!) The dress wasn't snug enough to support me, but you can wear a regular bra with it as long as it plunges low enough in the front. 6. The liner did show a bit on the edges of the slit. 7. Really didn't wrinkle at all. No need to iron or steam.

I wore the 4R. Length was perfect I am 5’4” So that was a nice surprise but unusual. the slit does curl. I steamed the dress and Sean really well, this helped quite a bit. Dress was a show stopper!

This dress is a showstopper!It was perfect.I took a size 4. The gold color is just right. I received compliments all night. Slit was perfect not too high. Felt comfortable all night. This was a great rental.

absolutely amazing! good structure, perfect length, got tons of complements. the color is perfect and didn't wash me out at all. flexible enough to fit well in both the waist and chest, which can be difficult for me to find.

It was perfect! I had to wear high heels to match the length of the dress but it was all worth it. So glam and easy to move around. Highly recommend it!

I have long legs/short torso so I had to use safety pins to take some length off the straps but other than that it was perfect! Such a sassy but elegant choice. No cons.

Super flattering dress! It was a little large in the bust (I am 36C/D) but with a padded bra, it worked. The only tricky thing about this dress is the high front slit that makes sitting down or trying to cross your legs a little awkward.

This dress fits so so well! My main concern with ordering dresses is how well it’ll hide my tummy. Given I wore it with skims but it still sat pretty! I measure bust-43”, waist-38”, hips-43”. My only concerns were that the top was a bit loose in the shoulder area and the inseam would show but it’s easily fixable with a few safety pins.

Fabric kind of gave grandma vibes but worked perfect for a new years wedding. There is a piece of fabric that shows in the front slit but nothing a safety pin couldn’t fix. Top half would probably fit better on someone with a bigger bust.

I got a lot of compliments all night in this dress but the lining showed right at the slit and there was nothing I could do to hide it. I just had a good time and didn’t think about it. The slot was a little higher than I expected and I was a little self conscious dancing but I felt beautiful the whole night.

This dress is so gorgeous in person. I’m 5’4” and the petite length with 3 inch heels was perfect. The lining does show a bit, but steaming the dress helped with that. There is much more cleavage than I originally thought there’d be and the straps slid around a bit. I probably could have gone with a 4 but it wasn’t available. A little fashion tape held it all in place. I received so many compliments and the dress photographs so well!!
