Finnegan Gown

I wore it for my birthday party with tights and heeled booties and it was the perfect outfit!

I have a classic hourglass shape with large hips so I ordered down a size from my usual size to see if it would help ensure the layering on the hips did not add girth. I’m so glad I ordered down a size - it was perfectly cinched at the waist and flared out just slightly at the hips, making it super flattering. The deep v-neck is so elegant and flattering. I wore sheer black tights underneath since the slit is so high in the front and I’m glad I did. When sitting down, the slit goes very high up on the thighs. I’m obsessed with this dress and received countless compliments. If you’re thinking about renting it, do it!

Wore this to a formal affair and worked great- wore my regular bra, slit in from is not too high, but you do have to be mindful of how you sit. Heels made for t fall beautifully, Fabric is very soft and cozy- perfect for a winter event

This was a beautiful and very flattering gown. I wore it for the gala at my job. I wanted to look great but still work appropriate. This was perfect and also really easy to move around in. I never felt like I needed to adjust anything. Would definitely rent again so more people can see me in it!

This dress was great. I wore it to a great gatsby themed gala and it was super comfortable and stretchy. I could wear a normal bra with it, which was awesome too. The slit is a little weird. Right up the front. The 4p fit, but I decided to go up a size so there would be more material at the slit opening. I also wore black tights and I feel like that helped the weirdness of the slit placement. Overall, great dress and I didn’t feel weird about the slit the night of the gala bc of my “fixes”.

Nice formal dress for wedding or gala. Thick material so better for cold weather events. Good cut for shorter people; no long train. Great stretchy material for dancing all night.

The dress is beautiful but the slit is ill placed. It's a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, as it's centered and very high. Preview photos made it look more offset from center than it actually is. Great if standing still, but if you walk, you're going to flash people.

I got this in the 12 & 14 for NYE at work. I wore the 12 and honestly I’m surprised it fit so well, it’s really forgiving. The 14 just hung weird. I gave it 4 stars because it really flared at the hips on me and the slit is straight up the front so I was constantly pulling it down while walking. That aside, it’s gorgeous, warm, I was able to wear flats, and I got tons of compliments all night.

I ended up wearing a different dress. This one was fine, but it did seem to lack the formality for a black tie event. It fit kind of odd, but, tbh, that was expected from the photos (the front slit, the bulkiness around the hips). It was very comfortable though! Particularly in the chest. I'm not large chested, bur I felt extremely secure and supported by this dress without a bra.

I ordered this for as an option for a winter wedding, it came early thankfully as it had a very odd fit on my body type (tall, apple shaped). The slit was centered and very high. Loved in the picture on the model, but really didn’t work for me.

This dress was a dream for my 8-month pregnant belly. Worn in December for a maternity photo shoot. I sized up for the bump, but it fits TTS. Great for petites, too.

Loved this beautiful dress. It was perfect for a holiday gala. The slit was a little awkward right up the middle.

I loved the way the hip draping fell. But the front slit felt too high.

The dress is gorgeous, however the slit in the front is way too high. Now having said that I am 5'3". The sleeves were too long and the ruching around the hips is Wow! If you are curvy like me this dress is not for us.

Didn’t end up wearing it, pretty but definitely for cold weather only and the hip draping was a bit much for my figure.

Slit shows almost the entirety of the legs. Weirdly placed in front.

It made me look very round and short because of a lot of gathered material in front. Other than that the color and flow of the velvet was very pretty

The dress is a beautiful fabric and color. Unfortunately it does run small. I normally wear a small or size 6 and this size 6 was too small all over for me. I am quite tall (6') and the slit came right up to crotch height which was not good. The hem length was okay for tall ladies. I would recommend sizing up and having pins available to close the slit more.
