Got tons of complements and felt so lovely in this dress for a Mardi Gras themed work event. Velvet is super cute and forgiving. Smoothed everything out and made me feel confident. The length is short which adds some fun.

I ordered a few options from RTR and was surprised this ended up being the winner. It fit true-to-size with the zipper in the back and I felt like it was flattering on a curvier body. Though fair warning, it's super low-cut. I bought a strapless bra specifically hoping it wouldn't show, but you could still see it if the dress wasn't in the perfect position.

This dress hides all the body's imperfections and hugs you in the right places. I wore it to New Year's Eve Dinner and felt very comfortable all night. Very well made.

I normally wear a 10, but the 12 fit best. The turn around to get a new size was so fast and the customer service was fantastic.

This dress is the whole package. I wore it once to a 30th birthday celebration with my girlfriends and once out to a romantic dinner with my partner for Valentine's Day. I'm usually a 0 or 2 and the 0 fit perfectly. It's comfortable even after a big meal. The shoulder pads usually don't do much for me, but these really add a lot to the dress. I did have to pull it down a few times, but then again I have long legs and am kind of tall. Overall, wish I could afford to buy this because it's one of my favorites!!

I loved wearing this for a company Christmas party. Only issue is that it was slightly short. I'm 5'2 so if you're any taller it might not work

Loved this dress! Just enough structure that you don't need a bra. It is busty, so you have to be looking for that, but it was so flattering and really high quality thick velvet. Still considering purchasing at some point. Truly perfect winter LBD

True to size, not overly fitted in any area, not too short (5'3). Will definitely show a bit of cleavage

I wore this dress to my company holiday party. It was such a beautiful dress and fit very well. One thing I would note is that the bust may be a bit loose for some - I’m a 36DD and typically find tops really tight, however, with this dress there would be some gaps every now and then depending on how I was sitting, I was very aware that it was a bit low cut and had to keep pulling up throughout the night. Other than that, this dress was perfect for the occasion and I received a ton of compliments!

I was obsessed with this dress. The fit was perfect (size zero) I am 5’0” and 117 lbs. I ended up purchasing this item. It is the perfect dress for a winter event. So flattering and I got so many compliments.

I wore it for a holiday date and also for New Year’s Eve and it was PERFECT. Flattering and comfortable. I paired it with sheer hose and patent heels (for the dinner date) and knee high boots (for the more comfortable night out).

My photographer loved this dress and said it had the vibes of a James Bond movie mixed with some Matrix lol! Fiance loved the silhouette. Great for all body types and I found it to be roomy in the tummy area.

Loved this dress for a new years celebration! Amazing quality dress with soft, thick material. True to size everywhere except the chest. As other reviews mentioned, it’s big in the chest and requires fashion tape or it will gape.

Loved this dress. Top part was a bit lower cut than expected. And around the thighs/butt was a little tight, not great for lots of movement. Otherwise comfortable and flattering.

The Sweetheart neck line is incredibly low. I had to pin up at least an inch on each shoulder and then use fashion tape to secure the entire chest area. It was a labor of love to get this dress on and stay in place for the night, wouldn't rent again.

Loved the cut, great material - felt a little tight sitting down/rides up, so definitely size up. Arms were a little long but not annoyingly so.

Definitely a sexy look. I have a large chest relative to my frame and still felt this was large in the chest. Could see my bra depending on how I was sitting. It was also short but that worked with the look I was going for.

This had great details, a fun cut and was very nicely made. Perfect for a NYE party.

Perfect and unique for a wedding

Such a fun party dress! Loved the velvet, the long sleeves and the bow. Ran big in the chest so I used wardrobe tape to stick it to me.

However, the dress has overlong sleeves that extend past my hands.

Super classy and flattering

Very flattering and easy to wear. I attended a family wedding where guests had to wear all black, but I couldn't find a dress for purchase that was the right mix of interesting and not too revealing. This was that. I will say it was a bit warm because it's all velvet so dancing wasn't as comfy as hoped. Also the seam on the shoulders where the puffy sleeve is was itchy. Otherwise happy with it.

I loved this dress and got so many compliments! I wore for my 40th birthday and felt like a queen. I am 36C and the top fit properly on me, but if you are smaller on top you may need to pin it.

I got a size 16 because 14 was not available and it was sadly too "roomy" on chest and upper body. If I had rented the 14, I believe it would've been perfect. The fabric is tick, rich and comfortable. On the shorter side, but very well made. Maybe will rent the right size next time.

I did not wear this dress. The weather was too warm. However, I would rent again for a colder season.

This dress was a great fit! It was comfortable easy to move around in. The V in the front was not too exposing, I felt comfortable. It was just at the minimum for the shortest I would have liked, taller girls may find this dress to be too short.

Wore to a Christmas cocktail party with black tights and black booties and LOVED IT. The perfect amount of cleavage and so so flattering! It was on the shorter side but was fine when I put tights on

Fits perfectly true to size and the velvet is super soft and luxurious. The top was a bit finicky though and required a lot of tape and prayers it would stay in place. It looked so pretty at home, but I was nervous about accidentally flashing while out. I’m 5’8 and it’s a smidge on the shorter side.
