Blue Pleated Shirt Dress

I normally wear an 8 but sized down to a 6 and it was perfect. If you’re more busty I would get your normal size.

Beautiful color, easy cotton fabric, and an exciting extras. I got so many compliments on this dress, and felt comfortable and confident in it all day at work. I can see why it would not be a great fit for everyone, including petites, because it is wide, and there is a lot of drama with the pleating and the sleeves. but if you’re looking for that type of energy or don’t need everything to be nipped in at the waist, you should give this one a try!

I just love this dress. True as others say- bust is tight. But it’s just amazing. My favorite part is the side silhouette- the higher front lower back in the skirt angle is just SO flattering, and comfortable!

I sized down for this dress and it was perfect! Little tight around the bust depending on the bra I was wearing and the ties around the sleeves got a little annoying sometimes.

Unique and flattering style. So comfortable to wear. Felt put together with ease. Was surprised how well the pleats came in the package - looked perfect. The wrists ties are annoying but I double knotted so they would stay in place.

Wore this to a work conference in Paris and got tons of compliments. I could have gotten away with sizing down bc it’s a generous cut but i think it’s cute oversized. Due to the sleeve buttons and ties you can make it show more or less skin. It works equally well with heels or strap sandals IMO, and it kept me cool for some hot metro rides.

I liked this one. Bustier gals— size up. Had to wear a sports bra.

I loved this dress! It definitely wasn’t the most flattering but that somehow was part of the charm. It was flowy, the fabric was perfect on a hot day, and it had fun details that I kept getting compliments on when I wore it to a conference.

Wore this dress for work and got so many compliments. Fabric is light so this is the perfect dress to wear in the spring / summer. The waist fits a little strangely in the back of the dress, but really loved this dress overall.

Longer if you’re short. Very comfy. Love it

I loved this dress, it was very comfortable, and the puff arms give it an extra flare. The dress could really use a waist belt but still looks nice without. I paired it with a chunky necklace and blue pumps. The size is perfect a little snug around my waist, but nothing uncomfortable. I went with the recommended size and I do not recommend sizing up.

Beautiful shirt dress-- construction is high quality and the hand feel is fantastic. It is a lot of fabric and can overwhelm a petite frame. Styled with a vest to and Hasbeen clogs for contrast.

I love this dress however, I don’t know if it is my height or the dress in general. BUT it made me look so wide! I took a picture from the side and dramatic difference in the way it looked on me!! Wish you could load more than one photo. For comparison. I did really like this dress and the unique waist line ruffle - sort of a high / low. I did get a compliment….. so I know it is cute. Just not sure I felt my best self in it. I had a rent rent it too and she is about 5-6” taller than me and was super cute on her and she didn’t look wide across the front as I did!

This dress is in a beautiful fabric and I like the unusual structure. It’s good for when you want to wear something more artsy/elevated and interesting. That said - it’s definitely more of a show piece and will make you look wider than you are. If cool trumps flattering, it’s worth a rental. It could also be an interesting maternity look although the top fit my (not pregnant) chest without wiggle room. I’m intrigued to try more looks from this designer.

I wore this to a gallery opening and dinner and I definitely got a ton of compliments and questions about who the designer is, but it wasn't my personal favorite - a bit too many fussy details. But I did like the cobalty navy color and the fact that it was a crisp shirt dress on top and a big pleated skirt on bottom.

I’m so curious what happened in the design meeting for this dress. It’s so close to being great but it feels like someone in the design process stepped in and said, “what do we need to do to make every woman look like she has monster hips. Bigger! Bigger! Bigger! Ok, perfect” and that became what we are renting now. I would not recommend this rental, under any conditions.

I knew this would be an oversized fit, but it was just terribly unflattering. The waistline also drops down in the back in a really unflattering way so it doesn’t show an hourglass shape or anything.

Could have sized down two sizes but still wore to work. Bottom is a lot of material.

I really enjoyed this dress* The pros: The skirt moves in the wind and the collar and sleeves stay put A+. The color is gorgeous, its dark in low light and bright in direct sun. Its not heavy at all, so its perfect for summer. Cons: It picked up stains more easily than Id like, the paint on the buttons was chipping (and the plastic underneath is white so its pretty noticeable), the top is too small, and there isnt much stretch in the fabric. Also, there are un-affixed 18in ties at the wrists for bows.

Wore it for a luncheon. Felt like you could dress it up or down. Waist isn’t fitted, but top fitting makes up for it so it doesn’t look like a paper bag.

After reading reviews I decided to get a size 0 to see if it would be more form fitting, it was still loose but I loved it! Theres definitely a lot of fabric in the skirt but I wore it to work and for Easter and got lots of compliments!

Beautiful color, fabric and movement in the dress. But go back and look at the photos carefully and you will see the model has more buttons undone than you would normally wear in public. This is because the dress is very tight across the bust, even in my flattest bra. Wore it once, received compliments, but it was really too tight.

I wanted to love this dress but the reviews are right. Tiny waist, it fit but then I couldn’t button my chest in! I wore a navy tank under becasue I still loved the dress. There were also buttons that were not sewn on, but it was worth one wear to school. I loved the amount of material and the style, but definitely a weird fit. Chesty girls, stay away! Unless you don’t mind wearing it opened up.

Cute outfit , but weird around the dropped waist that has a frill around it . I just hid all of that by tying a scarf around it like a sash

I really tried to love this. I sized up bc the top was too tight and it didn’t get better. This might work better for someone taller but as interesting as it was, it just did me no favors. Didn’t wear.

Definitely not the fit I was expecting. I look like a medieval peasant, and couldn't even wear it because of how tight the chest was

Versatile!! Slightly small in the chest... 36C and buttons were tested for sure! But still a agave and on my 'buy' list!

Great, it was only slightly snug in the chest. The strings on the sleeves are long so you have to tie them well. I wore this a LOT for the month I kept it - worked for work lunches and nights out at a Broadway show.
