Black Rye Janie Dress

Loved this dress. I'm 5'2" and wore it with 3 inch platform boots and it was barely touching the ground. On flats would be too long. The waist is high so it drapes nicely over pregnant belly.

My only comment would be the cotton poplin gets a tad hot in the sun, but so adorable

The straps have buttons on the back, so you can easily make them shorter or longer. The pockets are perfect, the material is good. The color is really great.

I loved this dress! I got so many compliments, both in person and based on photos. My only complaint is that the shoulder strap sometimes fell down while dancing.

Lots of compliments! It’s a lot of material but didn’t feel heavy. Wore to work and on a date night! Very versatile. A little tight in the chest but overall TTS and love that the straps adjust.

Super cute and comfortable. Wore for casual rehearsal dinner. Straps are adjustable which was nice! Dress is definitely longer but perfect with kitten heels.

I was SO close to buying this dress!! It's so comfortable, not restrictive at all, and doesn't need any shapewear. But the thing that really makes it great is how FUN the pattern is. I wore this for 2 separate events and got so many compliments. The fact that it's black and long makes it good for weddings, but the fabric isn't fancy, so it also worked well for an evening work party. Would recommend and definitely rent again.

Loved pairing this with a Jean jacket. It has adjustable straps which is a huge bonus bc sometimes strap dresses don’t work for me due to the strap length.

I felt like this dress was cute and unique without being too flashy. Fit great and probably could’ve done a size down except the bust is not stretchy at all and because of that I’m glad I got an XL vs a L. Don’t size down if you’re worried about fitting up top. I would probably buy it if it was cheaper!

Came NWT so the colors and design were sharp but the fabric was slightly stiff. From a distance the fabric looks metallic but it’s a nice yellow-gold. I rented my usual small & would say it’s TTS. I’d imagine there’s flexibility with the size as the skirt is full and the top has smocking at the back so will stretch to fit. Straps are adjustable via decorative buttons and 4 buttonhole options. Otherwise it’s pull-on, no zippers or any other buttons. I didn’t love the curved hem that was shorter on the sides and longer in the front and back (took off a ⭐️ for this). It was a little too long for me in the front and back, even with 4” heels. Of course pockets are always a welcome addition.

One of my favorite dresses. You're not able to wear a bra and if your a C cup or above this dress will squish the girls. The pattern is fun, it has pockets (!!!) and lower cut for a flattering fit.

Loved this dress! It was a smidge tight in the bust (I'm a 36B) so if you are bustier order 1 size up. Would rent this dress or possibly buy it!

Very cute dress!

Perfect transition dress from summer to fall. Wore it on dates, running errands, to my daughter’s school function. Amazing fit, great color scheme, unique strap details in back, super comfortable. So. Many. Compliments. Every time I wore it.

I paired this with an oversized black blazer and got tons of compliments. The print is easy but the color combination is bold. I LOVED the fit of this dress (I go between size 10 and 12). The straps are adjustable and it was extremely comfortable plus had pockets. Best of all it did not need to be steamed before I wore it. Totally recommend for anytime of year.

Will get the small next time but wore this twice and felt very confident and comfortable.

Cute dress, perfect length hitting me right above my ankle. Two buttons on the straps to adjust length is nice but they’re a little loose and came undone a couple of times when wearing

This is my favorite rental from the past five months or so. It feels really well made, and when I put it on it fit perfectly without any adjustment. It was really flattering (I am pear-shaped) and just felt easy and perfect.

I wanted to love this so bad! It was too long for me, but also weirdly tight in the chest, like restrictively so, and much too long as well. Oh well! I think I might an outlier here.

Awesome pattern but this was overall just very big on me- lots of material on the bottom that made it not so flattering. Would be interested in trying it again in a size smaller, but I’m a true 8 and the medium was too big!

unfortunately the top of this dress was way too tight... will try the medium at some point because I otherwise loved it.

The waist was perfect, but there wasn't enough room in the chest. Probably better for other body types. Great pattern and material.
