Rented this jacket for a May trip to Iceland when the weather was in the high 30s - mid 40s, strong winds and occasional hail, and it hit the spot for being outdoors all day long. Sized up bc my usual 8 was not available but that worked well for the multiple layers that the changeable weather required. Length was perfect for me, too — I’m 5’8”.
A perfect light jacket to keep you warm in the spring or fall months. High quality. Considering buying it!
I rented this jacket for 4 months and really considered buying! It is amazing! Great quality and so warm. I love everything about it--perfect for fall and winter.

I could've gone to a size 10 or maybe even an 8. They run large but they make awesome coats.
Wore this on a cold Spring trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Great for hiking; it cut the wind; liked the bottom and top zippers for versatility and ease of movement; high neck and drawstring waste kept cold wind at bay. Plus the length went over my bottom which I like when wearing leggings. Lots of pockets too! Loved this coat.
Fit true to size, and I loved the hidden adjustable cinched waist. I wore it for a trip to Iceland. It was great during the chilly daytime, but not quite warm enough for very cold nights. I was going to buy it, but then the price went up when my rental period was ending :(

I want to buy this as soon as a size 10 comes available. I’m usually size 14 but it’s quite big.
Fits nicely and is very warm. I would say it runs true to size or slightly large. I rented a size 8 and I normally wear a 10, but I was wearing a thin shirt under it.
Solid quilted jacket. Tapers in at the waist in the back a little - very flattering
Loving this coat! Warm, comfortable, easy to throw on for my commute to work and into the office. So stylish!
Was perfect for vacation. I wore this a TON. Will rent again and then probably buy. Totally rent it if you’re on the fence.
Perfect in between jacket. True to size, fits over a light sweater.
Great jacket. Boxy basic Barbour. Loved it!
Really liked this jacket. Super warm for the weight and was easy to layer under.
Nice weight and warm without being bulky. Runs a bit large but has interior drawstrings to cinch in the waist. Sleeves have a knit at the wrist to keep the cold air out. Smart looking for casual and those in between days.

cozy, warm, love!
I moved to NYC from SF recently and didn’t want to bust out my Patagonia puff as temperatures dropped, so this was a classier solution for my errand runs. It was more padded and thereby warmer than the Barbour Woodhall Quilted Jacket. Great for throwing over a t-shirt for quick errands or commutes when it’s 40-55° F out. My mom could also fit the size 4. It was more fitted on her but she loved the cinched waist tabs inside the jacket a she prefers a more tailored, fitted look. I either wear a size 4 or 6 in Barbour jackets, and the 4 sufficed here.
Big bc only size available, but still wore a million times! Barbour quality is always perfect
I am usually an 10. This size 8 was so massive. I would have sized down to a 4 honesty.
I ordered this jacket in a 4 because I'd hoped to layer, but the jacket is enormous and too long on me. It made me look much bigger than I am, so I am returning it without wearing it.
