Slow Burn Gown

Wore this to a formal workfunction. Constantly turning heads. The fit was so flattering and the details made it so elegant.

I am a short, curvy woman with a so-called "apple" body type. I am 5 feet tall, and the length was perfect with my 3 to 4-inch heels. I tried this dress on literal minutes before running to this event. It is super comfortable and flattering. I love the simplicity and edginess of the neckline. The fabric is elegant and lays well on the body. I wore shapewear underneath, but I don't think it's required. It is an airy dress that is perfect for a summer event :) SUPER impressed!

Rented this for a black tie dinner event and it was perfect! Fit me so well, was super flattering, and very comfortable - got lots of compliments on top of that! Would definitely rent again!

This dress was perfect for the black tie wedding I attended. I received many compliments on it. The fit is very good but it was a bit large in the chest area. Overall I enjoyed wearing it and it was very comfortable.

I loved this dress! I wore it to an event with the theme "Hollywood glam" and truly felt glamorous. The compliments on this dress were endless all night! It fit true to size, and was so comfortable and beautiful! I'm 5'5" and wore a 2 inch heel with the 4R, with plenty of length to spare.

Beautiful color and it fit like a glove! The fabric is thick so it covers up a lot and just feels expensive. I wore it to a wedding and got so many compliments on it. I rented an 8 and a 10 and I ended up wearing the 10 because it was a little more comfortable. It was also the perfect length with 4 inch heels!

Compliments galore. The color of the gown is show stopping and the material is thick and with a great fit. It is not very forgiving in the mid section so spanx are a must. I was worried it would be too long but the length was perfect and will probably rent this in other colors

Very flattering but it is tight! There isn’t much difference between the 4 and 6. I wore the 4 but could have easily worn the 6. I loved wearing the dress and received several compliments.

Great dress, the "L" is super long - I'm 5'7" w/ 3" heels and it was dragging, but no big. Loved the dress, it's super saucy!

I had a really great experience renting this dress. I went to the RTR store in New York and was convinced to order this one by a stylist when I was torn between two dresses. He was incredibly accommodating for my delivery needs as well. I did end up receiving a 2R despite ordering 2P which was a bummer since I really needed the 2P. The bust area was big for me (I am 34B) and the dress was too long despite wearing 4" heels (I am 5'2"). Regardless, it still looked good, I felt great in it, and I, received lots of compliments!

Juice cleanse before and wear spanx... otherwise, it's great for dancing!

I absolutely loved this dress. It fit me like a glove and stayed in place all night. I received so many compliments and felt like a beauty queen. I would never have been able to wear a dress like this without Rent the Runway. I am hooked!

unless you are taller than 5 ‘6”, even with size 2 petite, you will have a problem with the length. Used the Hollywood temporary tape, it kept coming down, my heel got caught in it, thank goodness it was not a dance, that would’ve been impossible. It is a wow dress, but uncomfortable due to the length.

The dress was beautiful, however fit like a glove. Normally am a size 10R, but this was extremely tight, but loose on the top which caused my bra to show on the sides. Because of the lack of support, I wasn't comfortable wearing no bra and the 12R was even bigger on my chest.

I’m a true 16, this fit like a glove. Be comfortable showing off your curves, the dress is very form fitting, not a ton of give. The color is vibrant. Beautiful gown.

It fit amazing covered any “lumpy” areas, was fine to dine in and comfortable enough for dancing without worrying what would be compromised!

I loved this. It's not the most original or exciting dress but is a flattering, classic floor length. I paired it with some long gloves (not pictured) and raked in compliments all night! I'm a 10/12 and a 12 was the right decision as it runs true to "formal dress size" aka: doesn't have a lot of stretch for those of us with broad or curvy bods.

Wasn't my first pick. The dress I originally ordered ended up not being available so they did a last minute option change and I ended up loving this one more than my original pick.

This dress was not my original choice it was sent as back up when original was no longer available at last minute and it was a stunner. Fit was perfect, fabric so rich and elegant.

I am on the petite side 5'3" and was able to wear a lower pair of heels with this, if you're taller keep that in mind. Fit was great, had some give to it.

This is an elegant, flattering dress. I'm 5'9" and currently 145lbs. I definitely needed the long! After reading reviews that said the dress runs small, my backup was a 10 but I wish I could have tried the 6L. The 8L was super comfortable and easy to dance in later in the evening though. I also wore a strapless bra with no problems. Highly recommend!

You cannot go wrong. If you are not afraid to show your curves, go with it.

Great fit. Gives a nice hourglass shape. I wore spanks to hide the lines in the tummy. Wore just a sticker bra, and even with a larger chest felt supported. Would rent this dress again.

I can not recommend this dress enough! At the time of wearing, I was a size 4 in tops and about a 32C, but what REALLY amazed me about this dress is that in accommodated my hips extremely well. My pant size is closer to an 8. I am a Pear shape all the way. If you are confident with the front of your stomach, don't let larger hips and butt talk you out of this one. It's such a winner!!

This was the perfect dress for my Fiancées command holiday party. I felt amazing, plus I received tons of compliments all night.

I loved everything about this dress! Wore it for a Mardi Gras ball and felt great all night. I would suggest heels because it was on the longer side.

I loved this dress! So gorgeous and such a beautiful color. I originally wanted a size 2, which was not available, so I went with a 0L and 4R. The 4 was just a little too baggy in my top half, but the 0 fit just fine! I think the high quality in the fabric and the slight stretch made the 0 work just fine. Lengthwise, the long worked better than the regular for me. I am about 5'8" and wore taller heels and the dress hit right at the perfect spot!

True to size, a great dress for curvy girls. Hugs in all the right places. TIP: watch out for the train. Wore 4 inch heels and still had to hold my dress.
