This dress with turn heads; backless stick on bra was clutch for lift with high neckline. 4L was a bit long for dance party - would rent a 4 next time.

Wore this to a VERY fancy Hollywood event - celebs wearing their finest and lots of other designer dresses. This dress made me feel confident and fabulous - even though I'm not a size 0. I got SO many compliments - needed hardly any shapewear because the dress is so well structured. It's sparkly but not scratchy thanks to its great internal design. If you are curvier woman - or a woman over a "certain age," don't hesitate to rent this dress. It's great!

This dress is gorgeous. I wore it to a formal gala and got compliments all night. Obviously its totally backless, so a bra is difficult. I wore those stick-on lifting pasties for a little bit of shape. Busty gals should have some sort of plan for this. I'm 5'5 and wore ~4 inch heels, and it was still floor-length. I wasn't tripping on it, but it did get snagged on my shoes occasionally. Its pretty form-fitting, but I didn't feel too self-conscious in it with some shapeware underneath.

Very flattering and comfortable. Length was just right with heels. I didn’t know if I would love the built in sash in the back but I liked it! Got a lot of compliments all night at the gala.

My husband and I were invited to a formal event, so I immediately turned to RTR. I ordered the 6R and 8R to try on. Per usual, my hips cause me to have to go with the bigger size even though my chest would have been fine with the smaller. Even though I had to size up, the top half was not hanging off of me. I honestly probably could have work the 6 if I wanted to squeeze into it. The dress did have some stretch to it.

This dress is a stunner. I am 5’8’’ and 135 pounds. The size 2 fit perfectly. I do wish it was a tad bit longer but overall 👌🏻

This was an incredibly comfortable dress and the back is just beautiful. It was a showstopper for sure. I went with the 0 petite which ended up fitting perfectly for my frame and height.

This dress was so incredibly glamorous. The perfect shade of midnight blue and the open back was the real show-stopper. The compliments that I received in this dress were nonstop. The fit was effortless and so very comfortable. I wore black heels that weren’t very high so that the dress would skirt the floor. RTR for the win… again!

The 6 long was forgiving enough to eat dinner in, and felt great, however the 4 would have worked well too. I’m fact I think the 4 was more flattering and accented my (barely there) curves, but for a long, it was still on the short side.

The backless design looks great. Fairly comfortable. True to size.

Rented this dress for two back to back formal occasions during the holiday season. It was a huge hit at both. I got a ton of compliments, was comfortable, and felt exceptionally confident all night. It's very form fitting but in all the right ways.

This is the second time I've rented this look and I love it. It's flattering from every angle, comfortable when sitting, and lined so that the sequins don't itch! I wore the 4 even tho the 2 fit. I recently had a baby so have a little extra in the middle, but this dress has some stretch. I wore this for a show I produce and paired it with a boa, gloves, and costume jewels, but it looks great without too. The 4 was long for me, I'm 5'6" but I wore a 2" heel so maybe wear a higher one.

I rented this gorgeous 1920s old Hollywood inspired glam gown for a black tie awards event. It was a show stopper. Most wore black, so this blue dress stood out. The dramatic back simply was stunning as was the silhouette. I am 5ft, so the Petite was perfect! I wore three inch heels and the dress didn't drag. I wish I would have also gotten the 2P as the 4P was a tad big/had room. I'm wondering if the 2P would have hugged my curves more. Regardless, I felt amazing. This is a must rent dress!

The dress is tight at the thighs. It is not a straight dress, so I took a size up.

You'll only need the correct bra, the dress is a perfect fit, only tiny con was it was a tad short but I was able to move around and dance without worries that someone would stand on the dress! I received loads of compliments, I am a young at heart 62 year old!

I'm glad I ordered the longer length. I'm 5'7" and wore 5" heels for the event. The length was great. I loved that the dress had a small train. Definitely an elegant touch. I probably could have worn the 10, but I was very comfortable in the 12. The pictures on the site make it look like the dress has almost a mock turtleneck in the front. When I put it on it was more of a draped neckline, which I liked so much more. The color is a beautiful blackish blue, which was really lovely. A great dress and a great first time experience renting the runway!

This gown fits in all the right places, the plunging back neckline is definitely eye catching. If you're going to do 20's 30's theme; this gown is perfect!

I needed something for a black tie fundraising gala with primarily work colleagues and clients, so my goal was formal and pretty, but still professional (and specifically no cleavage - I didn't want to feel self-conscious speaking with clients). This dress was perfect - I felt sexy but not exposed or risque. I wore the back up smaller size (usually 2, wore 0) - both fit fine, but the 0 fit better around the arms. The back hit at mid-lumbar, no problem to wear underwear; I did not wear a bra, only silicone petals, but the dress felt like a leotard and held everything in reasonably well (no dancing at the event - might have been different). Length was fine with 3" heels. It is a beautiful dress, and I'd definitely chose it again!

I wore the dress for a Christmas Masquerade event and paired it with a similar in color shoes.

Perfect for a work Gala where I didn’t want to show too much skin but I still felt glamorous and sexy. I normally wear a 6 but the 8 felt great and was the only size available. Very comfortable and I got lots of compliments.

I am 37.5 weeks pregnant and this dress fit almost perfectly, just size up!! It was large in the bust as it really isn’t a maternity gown but I couldn’t have been happier!

You'll definitely want to look into strapless, backless support, like a Nu Bra, as the back is completely open. I honestly wish I didn't have to send it back. And again, for me, it was comfortable enough that I could have worn it all day without a second thought!

Forgiving material! I can be between sizes and sizing down was the right choice. Not too tight around the arms, and an adjustable neckline! Absolutely a show stopping dress. Quite long, but this dress is made for heels :)

I loved this dress! It fit perfectly. My only issue was that I wish the long was available because my heal kept getting caught in the hem of the dress. I don’t think that would have happened if the dress were longer. It also would have looked a little more elegant if I had worn the long. Otherwise it was wonderful. I got compliments all night.

I wore this to an awards ceremony and black tie dinner in Las Vegas. As a very petit person I'm always cautious when it comes to ordering clothing online. Especially for an event like this. I had one chance to get it right, and I am happy to report that this dress was absolute perfection! Between the stylist notes that RTR has on every listing, and the detailed reviews left by others, I felt more confident that I typically do when ordering clothing online. The dress itself is very comfortable and forgiving. The base of the dress is a jersey-type cloth, which is both soft and stretchy. I didn't do any dancing in this dress, so I can't really speak to that, but we did hit the strip after our event was over, and this dress never felt uncomfortable, itchy or confining during our excursion. I typically wear a size 2 in dresses, but I ordered the size 0 based on reviews that others had left behind. I'm really glad that I read those reviews. Size 2 would have been too big. I actually fall outside of the range of what the fashion industry considers to be petit (I'm shorter) but the length of this dress was perfect to wear with some 3-inch heels. Barefoot, the hem touched the floor. Someone a few inches taller than me could get away with wearing flats, if they wanted. The black fabric that drapes down the back is some kind of satin(?) It's really soft, and only attached at the neck, which made it really easy to iron. I purposefully chose a sequin dress, because I knew that I would be packing all of my garments in my suitcase, and I didn't want to deal with wrinkles. I didn't mind dealing with the draped fabric, as it was small and only took me a minute to press. I loved the color of this dress. The sapphire blue shown on the website is very true to color. It was eye-catching without being over the top or garish, which I really liked. I paired it with gold and black accessories, and a simple pair of black kitten heels. I received a ton of compliments all night long. 10/10

Beautiful dress. It’s more blue than teal. The dress stretches so it doesn’t feel confining when wearing. For people under 5’6 it may be too long even with heels.

Absolutely beautiful- loved the back. Had little hidden grips on shoulders and under arms to help keep everything in place. Tons of compliments!!

I love this dress! It's comfortable, the sequins never bothered my arms. The length was perfect for me... showing my shoes, but not too short. The only negative was that I couldn't step backwards due to the train. I had to remember to move forward to turn around. But that wasn't a big enough issue to keep me from enjoying wearing this dress.
