Printed Side Skirt Ruffle Gown

Stunning and flattering design. The fabric is gorgeous. I called it “the peacock dress.” True to size and there is NO give to fabric. 10 was tight in bust 12 was too big. Went with 10 and needed help zipping it up to squeeze in. It’s worth it.

This dress is just phenomenal. I have no words for how much fun it was to wear this dress!

Absolutely fell in love with this dress. Wore it for anniversary dinner and my husband gushed over it. It has great structure and fit. The details are beautifully done and it's better in person than in the photo.

It can fold over a bit in the front and I suspect that the 12L that I got may have been one of the more previously rented dresses which is why this was happening. Overall great dress, that fit the Funky Formal theme for my friend’s wedding. It was also more comfortable than I expected which made dancing the night away so much easier. This dress had a flattering silhouette and I could see how it would be complimentary to a variety of body types and sizes.

Get the size up. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the 12 so I squeezed into the 10. The dress is so amazing my friend made this photo for me. I was able to ballroom dance with no problems in the strapless dress. Very well structured.

I loved the pattern and texture of this dress. The ruffle and drape in front provided coverage for my midsection which always boosts my confidence. I tried it on first without a bra but I did not have enough to fill the top of the dress adequately so went with a padded strapless bra which helped. I loved this dress and had so much fun wearing it. I was sad the night ended and I had to take it off.

I will be renting from Rent the Runway again! It's very convenient to shop for so many styles without ever leaving your home. I am also a big fan of the return pick-up from your house!!!

Received so many compliments and was comfortable the entire night…had to use double sided tape for being smaller chested.

I recommend getting a back upbsize if you are curvy. I found the burst area too tight in my size so went for a size up which for perfect.

My daughter completed in a modeling competition and wore this dress to the after party. It was gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Pictures can’t do it justice! The peacock color underneath are amazing. A perfect fit for size 0 regular and length was fine with high heels. Petite would have been great.

The fabric and fit of this dress made it feel fancy AND fun! It was a little roomy in the bust but otherwise, it was true to size for me. Agree with the others - looks silver in the pics, but is actually gold in real life. Got lots of compliments and it was so comfortable to wear - highly recommend!!

Received numerous compliments wearing this gown. Very beautiful, I am a true 4 however it wasn’t available so I wore a 6R and it fit perfectly.

I’m 5’9 and the height was perfect with a 2.5 inch heel. The dress got so many compliments and looked so fab! But I have to say it was a bit uncomfortable (no stretch in the fabric at all).

Dress fit amazing. Length was perfect. Material felt expensive. Colors that can't be seen on picture are perfect.

Event was vintage Hollywood. Ordered my pre-pandemic size of 8 and 10 and had to get the emergency size 12 due to my apple shape. B. Mischka sizing for me is always a boggle. I got another gold dress from the same designer as a backup and fit the Size 10. But this was a winner. Looked better when I sucked in my stomach in pictures but looked amazing at the bodice. Didn’t need a ton of jewelry - the dress carried the show. Had so many people walk up and say they loved my dress. I am glad I picked it.

Extremely flattering, unique, and movie star fabulous! Fit was perfect for me but I had to wear a thick strapless bra to fill out the bust. No shape wear needed as the fabric is thick. The ruffles are super fun and added glamour. Color is more interesting in person. It silver and black with slight purples, blues, and greens, almost like peacock colors. Got so many compliments! My original dress didn’t fit so RTR overnighted this one. I actually love it more than the original pick. You won’t regret getting this dress.

This gown was perfect for a winter black tie wedding! Thick but comfortable material, not too heavy, perfect fit. I felt regal!

It’s so hard to find a strapless dress that I don’t have to mess with (having a large chest) but this dress was absolute perfection. It fit perfectly, I never had to tug at it or pull it up. The details up close are so pretty and colorful and sparkly. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many compliments on a dress. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

This dress was a show stopper. I was nervous of the fit since I'm usually a 2 but that wasn't available. It didn't feel tight or uncomfortable. The dress detail is gorgeous, daring but so elegant. Wish I could keep this one. Will likely rent again.

This dress is my all time fav. The pattern, the ruching, the hidden pops of color. It’s a dream. The ruching conceals tummy/hips. Small bust girls be sure to wear some “padding” to ensure the top fills out. I just want to wear this dress again and again.

This is a stunning, one of a kind dress! It was absolutely a perfect fit! This dress is probably better suited for small-chested ladies because there is no stretch and is very fitted in that area. I received tons of compliments!

Wore this to a black tie wedding. I usually wear a dress size 6, but the bodice of the 6 I received was oddly stretched out and the dress body was snug on my hips. Thank goodness for a free second size! The size 8 fit great. I had a good strapless bra and used toupee tape to secure the dress to the bra which helped keep the dress up and in place all night. The pop of color under the ruffle was so fun and those same colors were subtly mixed with the shimmery silver all over the dress. Badgley Mischka made this dress right!

Beautiful dress with red, turquoise, and purple inside the feathers in the feather design. A little bit loose in the bust, but otherwise perfect!

I really LOVED this dress! The fabric looked even better in person, with so many different colors in it. I picked this dress because I thought it'd be a fun option for a black tie wedding, and I was right. I got compliments all night! I was able to dance the night away in it too. Had to size up one since I have a bigger butt and it was a curve-hugging dress, but it fit great! Very happy with this one!

I rented this dress for a formal event at the Library of Congress - it was my first time using RTR and I was hesitant about the peacock multicolor pattern, but THIS IS THE MOST FLATTERING DRESS I HAVE EVER SEEN! People had their jaws on the floor. It is a stunner from every angle! I didn't even have to wear a bra or shapewear as this fit like a glove! The ruffles and the pattern and the brocade take it to the next level. I am desperate for another formal event so I can rent this beauty again! I would size up as I am an 8-10 and the 10 was VERY hard to zip! But once it was on it was so comfortable. I got compliments all night long and danced the night away!

I wore this to a formal Mardi Gras ball. I am 5'4" and curvy, 36C bust. I normally wear size 4-6 in clothing depending on the cut. The 8R fit perfect with 3 inch heels. No slim wear or bra needed as this dress has amazing support and flattering gathers/ruffles. I got TONS of complements and felt so elegant (and comfortable). The color is a unique blend of gold and pewter with a peacock-like pattern and color scheme coming through. This was my first rental and I would totally rent again.

This was the best rental for me to date! This dress is elegant, durable, beautiful detailing, perfect fit. Pictures do it no justice. There are so many colors you can pull out for your accessories. I wore it to a Ball and definitely felt like a shining light in the room. It requires soft accessories because the dress says it all. I'm 5'5, 155lbs with a small bust and not so small bottom. It fit me perfectly. No additional under-garments required!

Rented this for a black-tie formal holiday party. I thought it was an interesting print, but the photos on the site don't do it the least bit of justice and the description isn't quite right. It's GOLD BROCADE with red and blue accents that give it a peacock effect. The dress was gorgeous and worked really well with my 'mommy body' without needing a lot of uncomfortable slimming/smoothing out garments underneath. I was comfortable all evening and received compliments all night. Was quite literally the 'belle of the ball'.

This dress is even more beautiful in person! I received tons of compliments all night. The dress is true to size. It's very heavy/thick material, so may be better for a fall/winter event. Highly recommend though!
