Rowenna Floral Velvet Dress

I am 44 years old married with kids and don't get hit on. I got hit on in this dress. LOL. I just fits really well, hugs all the right places, the ruching make it flattering. I wore a strapless bra and Spanx shorts underneath and it was perfect.

Such a stylish, feminine, and flattering dress. It was also super warm and perfect for a dinner in Quebec City.

This dress is a winner every time. So flattering with the ruching and hugs the curves. Second time renting. Super comfortable. You can't go wrong with this beauty.

Wore this to a fall formal wedding. I wore the smaller backup size, which had less bunching and thus was more flattering. Could wear normal undergarments and was comfortable the whole night. Looked cute with sleeves up OR off the shoulder.

I rented the 2 and 4 as there was no 0, at my size I could have fit the 0, if you're lighter it will probably be too big on you. It looked better sleeves down like I saw other renters wearing. Slit isn't too high. No bra area support so you will want to wear a strapless or sticky bra. Extremely flattering and form fitting. Several compliments. Yes, it is velvet but not that warm so if you have a true cold weather wedding hopefully you won't be outside long. Great rental overall and no quality issues.

Just rent it! The fit is amazing and hugs your curves in the best way!

I'm 5'5" 118 lbs and the size 2 fit perfectly – didn't even need a bra. The dress had a nice stretch to it and would definitely complement most any body type - definitely had extra room in the chest area had i needed it.

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal and dinner. It was cold outside so this dress was the perfect vibe…velvet and love. 🥰 I felt very comfortable in it and was able to wear a regular bra and undies which I LOVE in a a dress. The gathering around the waist is super flattering. I received a ton of compliments. I would definitely wear this dress again!

The amount of compliments I got from strangers on this dress was everything. This dress is so much beautiful in person than the pictures online. I felt so comfortable and the statement sleeves were everything.

I wore this dress for my birthday party and loved it SO much. The colors are gorgeous, the sleeves are amazing (you can wear them over your shoulders or off the shoulders), and it had the perfect amount of stretch so it was very comfortable. I did get a bit sweaty later in the night as we were dancing because of the velvet, but that’s to be expected. I felt so beautiful in this - it was the perfect rental for a night out in LA in the winter. You’ll love this rental!

Loved this rental - ordered a size 6 & size 8, but opted to wear the 8 (just to give myself a little bit of “breathing room”)…got compliments all night! My only complaint was that I wish it was a little shorter (ie landing closer to my mid-calf, vs right at my ankle)…but it could very well have been because I’m short, lol

I normally wear a size 12 but the 10 with a stretchy velvet design was perfect. Like others have said, it hugs the body in all the right spots. It certainly was a head-turner at my company dinner dance as I worked the greeting table! Super comfortable with sleeves up or down. I wore a strapless bra but with the structure and thickness of material, some could choose to go without!

I'm a true 14/16 and the 14 fit perfectly. Very stretchy and flattering in the midsection. I wore this to a Gatsby-esque jazz supper club on New Year's Eve and I got asked several times if I was one of the singers. Even the pianist on stage at the beginning of the set complimented my entire look! Prepare to stand out and turn heads. Beautiful material and print, fun to rent for a special occasion.

The dress had gorgeous stretch, and a nice, vintage, elegant vibe. The rouching around the belly area wasn’t a problem for me, but I can see how it can look like a bulge on certain folks figures. That being said, the sweetheart neckline was very feminine and I loved the aesthetic it gave! The stretch was phenomenal, but not too much, as I could still get away with not wearing a bra and only doing nipple pasties. The length was also perfect, I think the large slit in the middle gives it less of a matronly look! I would definitely rent again.

This dress is one of my favorites ever, and not just from Rent the Runway. It's soft and stretchy and features a beautiful print. The allover ruching details give the illusion of curves, the sweetheart neckline is dressy and sexy, and the short, puffed sleeves (which I wore off the shoulders) are very romantic. I will definitely rent this dress again!

I received So Many compliments on this dress! The style and material is definitely eye-catching, not to mention that it was very comfortable. The velvet is shiny, soft, and stretchy. I'm 5'4", weigh 170 lbs, and have a 36 DD chest. The sz 12 fit me perfectly.

The dress was so comfortable and the ruching and spandex made for a fitted silhouette that moved with me. Slit in front was at a good height to not be too revealing but allow movement. Wish I could keep it!

Needed a dress for a work awards dinner and liked this option because it had sleeves and ruching. Got SO MANY compliments and felt like a million dollars wearing it. It’s thick and stretchy and the ruching was super forgiving. I’m 5’2” 135lbs and originally ordered the 6 & 8 but changed it at the last minute to 4 & 6 after reading more reviews. Glad I did since I ended up wearing the size 4 and I feel like a size down would have still fit me. I would def rent this dress again. Wish I had a reason to buy it it’s THAT good!!

This dress is stunning. I received compliments all night. The velvet material made it the perfect dress for cold weather. The ruching on the front and back hugged all the right places and made other places, like the front and lower stomach, more flattering. I was able to dance easily despite wearing the dress off the shoulder.

Wore to a black tie wedding @ a country club- this fit the bill just fine. The sleeves were a little tight on the size down even though the dress fit fine, so I sized up.

Super comfy, offers a lot of stretch. Originally ordered size 4 & 6 but they were huge. Ended up sizing down to a 2. Fit perfectly, hides any problem areas generously. The sleeves are super poofy so if you’re looking to make a statement, this is it!
