Pleated Midi Dress

Wore this dress to two Thanksgiving parties, this dress is so flowy and beautiful! I expected it to be more velvety but it’s actually like a faux stretchy poly silk type fabric. I don’t think you should size up like a lot of reviews are saying, there’s some elastic at the waist that would’ve been much too tight if I sized down. If you’re afraid of a lot of fabric, don’t get this one, but I absolutely LOVE a fun silhouette so this was absolutely perfect for me.

This dress has a lot of fabric and folds and I see why people worry about that being frumpy, but it was fabulous still showed off my curves. I got tons of compliments and felt like a queen in it. I wore it multiple times and it was comfy yet chic. Felt very high end designer.

I've rented this twice now for two very different occasions (a work holiday party and a funeral) but speaks to how versatile it is for styling. I sized down as it is a good bit of fabric and the waist cinch is stretchy and not restricting.

Usually wear a 12 or large, got a medium and worked perfectly.

The fabric is slinky and sexy. The cut it comfy and forgiving. I love the billowy sleeves. One of my faves

Loved it so much, I bought it! (At a great price too) fit just right. Lux material, but a LOT of it. It doesn’t photograph great TBH because of all the fabric, but with a few tries you get it right.

Really loved this dress. Very modest and perfect for a memorial service.

I had three funerals to go to this month and RTR had my back. This dress was perfect, while stylish. I wore with black tights, flat boots or gray booties, and my own belt. It’s true the sleeve elastic was tight, but it didn’t bother me. Super comfortable and flattering, and I received many compliments. Size was good.

It’s giving Lilly Van der Woodsen. So chic, could be worn to date night or to a party, probably even the office with tall boots. Wanted to buy this one so badly.

Totally agree w the other reviewer who called the dress witchy - that was my first thought exactly. But I still loved this dress! Nice quality fabric, and very tight elastic (maybe too tight, would go up a size if you're in between)

Nothing too exciting but if you're looking for an elegant black dress it's comfortable and chic. Waist is elastic and pleats also make it totally forgiving in terms of size. A little warm because of the synthetic material.

Wore this dress for Christmas Eve. It was cute and comfortable but not the most flattering. I liked the material, it was heavy and flowy but not too thick. I think it could have been better with a belt.

So. Much. Fabric. Reigned it in with a belt. The fabric hand is beyond luxurious. I have a bigger frame and it worked but this might overwhelm tiny framed folks.

I loved everything about this dress but the sleeves. They are HUGE! I’ve got broad shoulders and a larger chest so the added volume of the sleeves made me feel bigger than I am. I loved the length and the material. I got compliment all day. I wore for work because we had 2 events that day. I added a belt because I felt my waist needed some definition. Liked but would possibly size down next time.

Very simple and comfortable dress — and up and over style with lots of pizazz. An ‘80s vibe that is versatile and breathable. Would rent again but not for a work trip: took up a lot of room in my suitcase!

Fits great. Love the pleats. Throw on and go. Flows. It is see through in bright light but can get away without a slip for darker weather. Doesn’t being the glam but maybe with better accessories. I only wore for everyday so fit the bill for what was needed. Enjoy the sleeves and cinched waist.

Based on pictures and other reviews, I ordered a medium when I normally wear a 12 or 14. The medium was still a lot of material. I’m tempted if I ever order it again to order a small. I did receive a lot of compliments, but it didn’t really feel like me.

For great, very comfortable! There is a lot of material, so forgiving, but also so much material I can't see myself wearing it for any other type of event. Several compliments on it.

Got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS in this dress. It flowed well and was really pretty in person, fabric was really high quality.

The sleeves have plenty of room and the dress has plenty of room. Overall comfortable fit that can be dressed up or down.

Or at least that's how I felt in it. Paired it with statement earrings. I definitely felt like I was channeling the coven but in the best possible way. Would definitely rent again.

Because the top was flowy I was able to base my size off my waist and it still fit great!

Go one size down. It is a lot of fabric.

At first I wore for a work event and felt like it’s super pretty and elegant but not flattering. Then wore again and soooo many compliments so I guess 5 stars :) easy to wear, fun

Great dress. Thought the size would have fit all types of shapes and sizes. I got multiple compliments. Normally an 8 & sometimes order a large for comfy fits but the medium was perfect
