Puff Sleeve Dress

I ended up wearing it for office photos. It was perfectly professional! It fit just as expected.

Lovely, stylish dress that is perfect for a dinner out. Classic yet contemporary with puff sleeves and ruffle hem. Elevated from everyday, but comfortable and stylish enough for a night out. The size 4 fit perfectly.

This dress exceeded my expectations. I got this after seeing it on a news anchor and scoured the internet until i finally found it on RTR. I was in like at first sight and then at first touch. This dress is lightweight with a seersucker-esque look. The fabric feels dreamy, drapes nicely, and has a lustrous finish. It is perfect for Texas summers and can transition well into mid- to late autumn. Size-wise, I normally wear a 4 if it's not petite, but based on reviews went with the 6 (with backup size 4). The bodice was perfect, even with the deep V on a shorter frame. If you're blessed with a curvy backside and hips, you'll want to size up like I did to ensure it lays right in the back. The length was perfect for my 5'0" hitting me just above the knee. This dress can be worn for any occasion - I wore it to church. I'll end my review the same as I started - I want to OWN this dress!

I loved this feminine, and minimalist dress by Phillip Lim X RTR! In my opinion, it runs true to size with no stretch. I recommend renting your normal size. There is not a zipper in the back, so you need to pull this style over your head to slip it on. This style is cinched at the midsection, and flowy and looser at the hips. It worked for smaller chest area. At 5'1, the length was just at my knees, which was perfect. The dress works to fit very short frames. The slightly puff sleeves make it girly and fun. Pair with a heeled sandal, or a white sneaker to dress it down!

True to size and classy

I wore it to a work event. I wish I could wear it more occasions because it was very comfortable and a great length. Didn't make my arms look too big which can happen with puffy sleeves and a broad back. I got a lot of compliments.

I absolutely loved this dress. It was slightly big on me so you could see the slip by the chest area. But just adorable. I could have sized down one more but even so, the belt sinched it perfectly for me.

This dress was super flattering and fun to wear. I loved the bottom - added such a fun, flirty touch. Fit TTS but as others have said, the arms are odd - sleeves are full but the cuff is tight. I preferred pushing the sleeves up so the cuff didn’t catch oddly around my elbow.

Wore this to a film premiere for work and it was perfect! Loved the belt and the texture.

This dress is perfect for so many occasions! Dressed up or down for work/church etc with sneakers, heels, wedges. I think it’s a great closet staple. The belt helps to add some waist definition and it’s not too short if you’re on the taller side. I am cautious to wear this length to work but it was perfect. I also have stronger arms/shoulders and sometimes feel like puff sleeve can be too tight but I had plenty of room.

Perfect fit. Really loved this. Even in summer! Still had a little wiggle room in this dress without it being too big or bulky, but also not too tight. Would do well in other seasons too Just right!

I absolutely loved this dress. I carry my weight in my stomach and this dresses fits very flattering. Just beware that it is see through so undergarments are necessary.

Puffy sleeves, sheer fabric over silky liner, rufflely flair on the bottom, belt… that sounds like a lot, but somehow it works! This has a LOT of personality for a little black dress. I wore it with professional heels for a work presentation and also dressed it up with fun accessories for a party. Lots of compliments at both! Will rent again!

I wore this to the office with cute ballet flats but I could also put a heeled sandal with it as well for a date. I love the sleeves & neckline.

Large seersucker material. Belt cheapens look so added my own. Sleeves a little long so hit me at elbow. Could dress up or dress down. Will rent again. Perfect for petites.

Absolutely amazing material. The weight of the skirt kept the dress from flashing the most populated sidewalks in dc in wind that was moving patio furniture. So wonderful. Sizing was a little odd the chest was rather large, but because there is so much fabric it isn’t as revealing as it could be. Just a little deep. Would have purchased it, but I got it NWT. Easy and very flattering dress to throw on. The sleeves are a little tight to button up so I just unbuttoned them. There is an attached black slip inside that makes it a little harder to get on but once you get it, it’s fine. Fit was perfect

One of my favorite RTR picks. Received tons of compliments. I think this would flatter most women. The fabric drapes/hangs very well, but definitely more of a spring/fall dress because the fabric is heavier. I went with a 6 based on a review about sizing up if you have a chest, and the slip was a little loose around my bust, but not unwearable.

This dress is so cute! I would size up if you have a larger bust. It has a very forgiving shape and the v-neck is so flattering. The volume in sleeve and stiff bottom had such a cute and feminine touch. It is bra friendly with a nude or black bra!

Fits as advertised - very cute wore for a formal event and work cocktail event. Not my usual style.

I really like this dress! It’s modest for work. I’m 5’6 and it hits right above my knee which is perfect. It also has a slip inside which I liked. I did have to steam the bottom of it. I honestly would buy it but it has a lot of frays along the seams which is why I took off a star. It’s black so it’s barely noticeable and not a huge issue but still slightly annoying.

Wore to the theatre and dinner. Loved the fit with the exception of the arms.

Tight around the bust. Lining kept moving and twisting but received a lot of compliments that it looked good.

This description says this dress is lined, but the one I received was not. You will need a black slip on hand if your experience is the same. Otherwise, I loved the dress and got lots of compliments on it. It is a fun material and the sleeve shape is fun but still flattering. It’s the details that make this simple black dress something unique.

I’m 5’4” ~147 lbs, it was very cute on, belt cinched in waist nicely. A little short for work for my liking, but I wore it anyway. Could definitely be dressed up with heels for date night. Will rent again.

I thought this might be a cute dress for work but I did not end up wearing. My office environment is casual, and the material is stiff, making it feel formal. The dress runs true to size, and there is a slip dress underneath so you can wear a bra.

Felt this was really cute in general but too short for any work functions and I’m only 5’4. I’m pear shaped and smaller on top and felt like the extra fabric/puffyness of the sleeves didn’t flatter me. Otherwise looked well made and expensive. Liked the fabric. Made my abdomen / lower half look flattering but the overall look felt too formal for my regular life but too risqué for work.

This dress is perfection. I would purchase if the price was right. Wore to an event and felt so great - lots of compliments. Perfect length for petite.

This dress is really nice but you must wear something underneath. I wish the belt could be removed in order to put a different one with more color.

This was super cute - I wore it to work an arts event. The arms were a bit tight on me but otherwise I liked how it was unexpected in cut and details.

Great for work and is a good length, especially for tall girls (I'm 5'9").
