It's not forgiving at all, so if you are heavier in the midsection- go a size up :) I'm usually a 0-2, and I wore a 2.

I rented this hot little red number for my bachelorette party in Vegas. It seriously fits like a glove, and shows off your curves while keeping you tucked in due to the material. I didn't wear a bra, and the top accentuates the cleavage and holds the boobies up without any help. It is one of my favorites I've ever rented!

The dress was perfect. I ordered a 4 and a 6, I'm usually a 4, but it was super tight, so I ended up wearing the 6. The chest looks a bit funny in the picture because I'm pushed up against someone, but it really looked beautiful. It had just the right amount of cutouts so that it didn't look like it was too showy, but was still super sexy. Loved it!

This dress definitely runs small. The 6 wasn't available so I took a gamble by getting the 4. It was tighter fitting than I would normally be comfortable with, but considering that you can't wear a bra, it worked. This dress is an attention grabber for sure!

The hips do fit tight as other reviewers have said but it's still easy to sit and dance in. I wore a 10 which is the same size dress I typically wear. But I would get a size up as your backup size. Received many compliments on this dress. Highly recommended!

This dress is incredible form fitted and therefor sexy when on, it does run small so I would recommend going up a size and then getting an extra size just in case. I'm normally a size 4, but ordered the 6 + the 8. I ended up wearing the 6 because it was more form fitting to my chest area. If you're headed to a wedding or party, this is definitely a dress I would recommend.

Wow. As a guy told me, he stopped in his tracks when he saw this dress. It's incredible. Thick material is comfy but it's very streamlined -- you might want light spanx for a really smooth fit. I was able to go braless (I'm a 34D) & the girls looked great. I typically wear a 6 or 8 & the 10 was perfect, so keep that in mind.

Fit runs a little small but was fine zipping up. Not a lot of room for food in this dress! Wore a Nu Bra which worked perfectly. Got tons of compliments. Sad to send this back!

This dress runs small around the body but the back is normal. I wore the size 4 and could barely breath in the front, but it came a little loose in the back cut-out design. Also, the dress doesn't look as low cut on the model. It was very tight around the chest so it pushed my boobs way up. That was okay for a night out in Vegas but I probably would not have worn this dress at home. But in Vegas this dress felt awesome. It stood out as a red dress should! It is very form fitting and eye turning. I would rent again!

This dress was a nice mid-length sheath that fits very form fittingly. If you want to hide anything (especially in the stomach area) this is not the dress for you. I am comfortable in form fitting dresses, so the snug fit didn't bother me. Overall true to size. The only issue with the dress is that it tended to ride up and hide the cut out (hence the reason why you cannot see it in this picture). Overall comfortable fit, but somewhat loose in the back and breast area (I think it was a little stretched out from previous wears). The color was also slightly faded due to several wears as well. But a very nice dress! I would recommend it for a more clubbing/girls night out event, as the caged back is very va-va-voom!

This dress runs small and I had to wear the size 2! The fabric is thicker and was hugging my body in all the right places. The top was a little bit loose but I wore my Braza bra and it work out perfectly! The back of this dress is gorgeous. I wore the dress for a romantic date with my boyfriend and he loved it. It was comfortable enough to walk and dance in. I would highly recommend!

Ordered this as my backup for NYE and I'm going to end up wearing on a date tonight so that worked out! This dress runs very small though! I would order a size up if renting again. It was a lot of work to get in this one...but with spanx it would probably be a lot better If you do size up the bust might be a little big. But I'm pretty hippy with not a lot of boobs Hope this helps you!

This dress was great, but I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because of the fit. Typically I wear a 4/6 but tried on this size 8 and found it to be very small and tight especially in the hip area. I recommend getting your true size and a size up to ensure fit in the waist/hip area. In my image the back straps are loose, but I think that is because of the size 8 that I wore. I believe going up one size for me would have been perfect. I loved the cut out in the front and thought the back made this really edgy. Also, I would recommend an adhesive bra as any other undergarment would show!

I wore this for my bachelorette party and I felt amazing in it. I am usually a size 10 but the 12 fit perfectly. I am a 36DDD and didn't even have to wear a bra.

I'm usually a 4 but I wore a 6 so that I wouldn't feel like a sausage in a casing. It was difficult to wear a bra with the dress because of the cutouts in the front and back, so I went braless. I wish it had a built-in bra because the dress fit me well but the chest area was not a snug as I would've liked it. It was still a lovely dress for a wedding and I would definitely rent it again!

The fit of this dress is very snug but it did fit true to size. Since I am so tall it was definitely several inches above my knees, as you can see in the photos, making this a mid-thigh length dress. The straps in the back didn't lay flat, but I didn't mind this as I had full range of motion which as a dancer is more important to me. Definitely spent a lot of the night pulling the dress down, but I chalk this up to more my highly physical demands due to the salsa dancing.. I think if you were just getting down at the club, or standing around a lot or even sitting, it probably wouldn't trouble you much. The cut-out in the front of the dress was very comfortable and didn't gape at all, which made the dress very fun and edgy without oversharing, lol. I wore a Victoria's Secret t-back lattice strap bra, since my boobs definitely looked better with a little lift. The bra did show in the back, but due to the fun party atmosphere it worked just fine. You could absolutely go without a bra, there is plenty of coverage and shape built into the bodice, I just preferred more oomph.. 10 out of 10, would rent again, or buy when it is retired. ;)

This dress absolutely was a hit! I wore it for a wedding in New Orleans. Everyone loved it! Hugged in all the right places. It was a little on the snug side, so if you may want to order a size up. Perfect balance of sexy and classy!

This dress was really easy to move in and I found very comfortable. Fit wise the chest had a slight gap if I wasn't sitting/standing upright, the dress length I found perfect, and I had no issues with the length of the straps in the back of the dress. I'd definitely recommend and rent again!

This dress received a lot of attention in Las Vegas, and not just because it was my birthday! I used others' advice to size up, and ended up wearing the larger dress. It still fit like a glove; thank goodness for spanx! I didn't need a bra either, and being a 34DDD that rarely happens. (My profile won't update, but otherwise, I'm 5'10", and usually a size 10 in dresses). But I felt beautiful, sexy, and classy, and received many compliments!

It was a little touch & go with the zipper for a minute which I think was a combination of the zipper and my body. I definitely think that a size 8 was the way to go and a 10 maybe would have been too loose around my tatas, which would have resulted in a nip slip. You can't tell by this picture but there's more or less no option of wearing a bra - even my backless, strapless one would have shown in the back. Also, Spanx were a must, but that would have probably been true with any dress I wore. The last time these people saw me I was 17 and 30lbs heavier so I got a LOT of, "You look great!"s all night, which I didn't hate. Loved this dress!

I'm always hesitant to order dresses online because I almost always have to try them on. I have a broad back and athletic build so it is difficult to find a good fit. I range from a size 6 to a size 10 depending on the material and style of the dress. Based on other reviews I ordered a size 8 with backup size 10. The 10 was not available so RTR sent me a different dress in size 10. I didn't like that one so if the 8 didn't fit I would have been SOL. Miraculously it fit like a glove! I don't normally go sans bra but the material was thick enough that I could. The open back/straps allowed for extra room for my shoulders and the rest was snug but very comfortable. I was able to dance up a storm and celebrate my birthday as the lady in red. Loved this dress!

For starters - I'm 5'5, 128-135lbs, usually a size 4. Athletic with 34D bust and big butt. 37-27-39. This dress was PERFECT. As with all Nicole Miller dresses, go up one size. I didn't need a bra, it was a lovely thick fabric, and the cutouts in front and back were great for a little added scandal. If you have a big butt, you're gonna get that waist wrinkle where it slides up as you move, but it still looks good. I'm going to be purchasing this dress.

If I had the chance I would order petite if there was one. I am just under 5 3" so I had to use safety pins to make the straps shorter. I made it look better than what the picture shows. We were still getting ready in our hotel room when this picture was taken. I danced all night and felt like a diva celebrating our bachelorette and Bolivia's Independence Day in D.C. If your short like me, remember the safety pins. Sexy and sassy, I highly recommend!

Hot hot hot!! Loved this dress so much. It fit perfectly, I wore the smaller size rented because I am a 32DDD and I didn't want to wear a sticky bra. It was perfect. Kept the girls contained but showed just enough cleavage. Lots of compliments, totally body hugging and sexy. I loved the strappy back (also the reason for no bra, it comes down low in the back and on the sides). Wore with black Louboutins and just rocked the night. Would totally rent again or purchase this dress.

Loved this dress! I received so many compliments and everyone wanted to know where I got it! Material was thick enough where you didn't need to wear a bra (the dress has an open back anyway). Great color, exactly as pictured in the novel. Just as a heads up, it is very tight fitting. I would recommend having your back up size be a size up rather than down. Also, the straps in the back were very unique and fun, but a little long and not adjustable so when you stand with good posture the middle strap kind of loosened out but I still loved the dress! Would definitely recommend!

I love this dress! It was really tight/mildly constricting, but you get used to it after a bit. Was very supportive, so didnt need a bra, but i wore won and it was invisible. Such and affordable and sexy dress!

I really loved wearing this dress, but WOW does it run narrow through the hips. I'm normally an 8, and I laughed when I pulled the 8 out of the bag because the bottom half looked so small. Hilariously, I still tried putting it on, and almost got stuck. I ended up in the size 10! Take this dress' description seriously when they don't list "hourglass" or "pear-shaped" as a body type recommendation. Besides all that, I LOVED wearing this!! My boyfriend loved it. Once you actually get it on the material is thick and flattering, and I appreciated how it was just sexy enough without being too overt. I wanted to wear it without a bra but it simply wasn't flattering on my D-cups, so I ended up getting one of those stick-on bra things from VS, which worked out fine. Great rental!
