At 5'5 I wore 3 inch heels and the skirt was just off the ground. If your true waist is small, size down! Wore size 2, but could have easily worn a 0. The only down side was that it is almost impossible to wear with flats without it dragging or getting stepped on - wouldn't recommend if you plan on running around the city!

I loved this skirt. I received compliments on my outfit all night long. It is definitely true to size and the perfect length to go with a pair of high heels.

I wore this skirt to an engagement party. Although I felt a little bridal, given the colors, the bride hates white and all things bridal, so I was safe! The skirt is so beautiful in person. It's more green/blue, than the picture on the model. The silk and heaviness of the skirt makes it perfect for an evening, formal event! LOVED it!

I was annoyed that the top did not come with the skirt and had to be rented separately for an extra $75! Instead I bought an inexpensive top that worked and saved my money.

I loved this skirt! I was a little unsure about it because of my figure I don't usually show my stomach, but I was told it would work and was talked into it. I am so glad that I was! I ordered the 8 but added the 6 as my extra size because the skirt sits on the waist and mine is a little smaller. I ended up wearing the 6 that fit perfectly! It does not come in different lengths so if your short you have to wear a heel or wedge. I am 5'3" and a wedge made it just touch the floor.

I wanted something that wasn't typical for a formal wedding. I love love love this skirt! It was so much fun to wear and dance around in. I had to hold it up on the dance floor once I kicked off my shoes. But that was no problem for me, I loved spinning it and swinging it around! I wore a heel about 3 1/2" and it was perfect, it didn't drag on the ground, and it was comfortable to walk in.

By far one of my favorite rentals ever. So flattering and comfortable. Runs true to size and the waist sits right at the smallest most flattering part of the waist. I'm 5'7" and had to wear heels or it would have been much too long. 3" heels worked perfectly. I also chose to find a different top to wear than the one that is shown as I did not want to show that much skin at a family wedding. Had no problem at all finding many options that worked well. Compliments were endless. Highly recommend!

The skirt was amazing, had pockets, didn't wrinkle in the suitcase, steamed easily, and received tons of compliments. The latch was broken when I received it, but you never even noticed, even with the crop top.

Pockets. Gods greatest invention. The person who thought of putting pockets in couture dresses - I want to kiss you. Such a fun skirt. It was a little long but nothing some tall heels couldn't fix. One of my favorite rentals so far and will be renting again. Felt so pretty and confident and received a ton of compliments.

I loved this dress, and was continuously complimented on the unique choice. It was perfect for the dance, and I did not feel any discomfort. The top stayed on perfectly and it was exactly the funky style I was looking for.

I was worried it would be too small so I ordered larger sizes but runs true to size definitely. The 6 was still kind of big but nothing a little duct tape to keep it in the exact right spot can fix.. Haha. I didn't want it to keep falling or breathing out and looking pregnant all night so it had to be done. LOVED it though. Got so many compliments and was the perfect length in my shoes

This dress looks good with anything.

I'm usually a 2-4 but the 2 was unavailable so I rented the 0 and 4... The 0 ended up fitting perfectly! I wore 3 1/2 inch heels and the fabric was so comfortable! I loved this skirt because no one else had them at my prom! All in all, a worthy rental! However, you have to hold the skirt when you walk around because it's supposed to just skim the ground! But nonetheless it was amazing and I got so many compliments!

This fits true to size. However, I'm 5'3" and the skirt was very long. I thankfully had 3.5" heels, but it still was a bit too long. Definitely make sure you're on the taller size with high heels for this to hit the ground perfectly!

I loved this piece! It was modern, playful, classy and FUN! It was very long and a bit dirty when I got it, but I'm sure that happens every time. I had on 6" heels with platforms and it was still too long. I only stepped on the skirt 2 or 3 times.

I am a 00/0 (24) so the skirt was big on me. It fell down below my hips unless it was pinned up bc skirt is supposed to fit high on waist. The top fit great. It was a tiny bit big in the darts but nothing noticeable at all. I got loads of compliments!

I loved this outfit! The size 0 fit but kinda hugged tight. The size 2 wasn't as tight and more flattering, not making me feel like my skin was hanging over from the skirt being tight. I absolutely loved this skirt and top!! I received so many compliments and felt so pretty!

This skirt was so killer, I wasn't the only one to wear it to my event! The fullness of the skirt was really complimentary to my waist (typical trouble spot). Length was good, wearing 4 in pumps. Super easy to move in, looked good with black and white top but honestly a sack would look good with this too.

The skirt ran long even in 4 inch heels for me. It dragged on the ground a little bit. The pockets were a great touch, and it was definitely a unique look at my prom! I opted for a cheaper top from an online shop and it still looked formal enough for prom, plus it wasn't too hot!

Fabulous skirt! Great movement. Quite a long length, so it needs heels. I also had to wear a 0, where usually I might be a 2 waist. It was beautiful and I loved the pockets, so playful for the shoot. Photographs beautifully. Showstopper. Wish I owned it.

I had surgery on both my feet prior to a wedding, and needed to find something that looked dressed up enough when I had to wear flip flops. Enter this skirt! It's such a beautiful light blue color and the fabric is on the heavier side--definitely not flimsy. I didn't like the crop top on this site, so I went out and bought my own. I was comfortable and stylish all night and got so many compliments! I would definitely rent this again! If you're a tall girl and plan on wearing flat shoes, go with the regular size.

I paired with a body suit from American Apparel, and it was perfect for a daytime wedding. I love the pockets! I am 5'10" and was worried about the length, but it was plenty long for me! Totally recommend this skirt!

Wore this for my city hall wedding and was soooo comfortable. Even the photographer was in awe of the pockets. Cel phone, lip gloss and ID and money fit with room to spare. 8p was the perfect length with a mid height heel. The volume is substantial but moves easily and doesn't feel poofy. Wore it very high on my waist to cover the mommy tummy/stretch marks. I don't even want to wear dresses that don't have pockets now. It's such a simple luxury to have your hands free and not be carrying a purse. I wore this with the white crop top pictured but it could work dressed way down too, with a crew neck tee or maybe a chambray shirt. Truly beautiful and versatile.

I can't say if it fits true to size or not, because I wore it at my baby shower when I was 8 months pregnant. It was absolutely perfect. I felt so stylish even though I was huge. I'm 5' 4" & it still hit the floor even with going over my baby bump (which was ginormous), so I can say it is a long skirt!

I was upset when I learned the top is ordered separately and I had only received the skirt. I had to run out and find a shirt to wear. I loved the skirt soo much it fit perfect. The material was very nice. The color was more green when I thought. This is great for an outside wedding.

I'm in between sizes, so I'm glad I went down a size. The skirt just sat a little higher than my natural waste, which was ok given the shortness of the top. Speaking of the top, I decided to go rogue and paired it with the 'Starry Night' Badgley Mishka top. It gave it just enough oomph to make it look more formal, yet fun and stylish! I received lots of compliments on how fun and unique my look was compared to other attendees. It was the perfect length with my 3.5" heels and just grazed the floor for a great effect. It was super comfy and the pockets were done in a way that if my phone or lip gloss was in there, it didn't even register. It is heavy for warmer weather though. And be careful when sitting/standing as you don't want to accidentally step on the skirt in your way out of your seat. I was really please with the rental!

I loved this outfit! The 0R skirt fit perfectly at my natural waist and just brushed the ground with 1/4'' wedge sandals (I'm 5'8). The skirt was comfortable and not hot at all. Plus- pockets!! I felt effortless and unique for our rustic picnic wedding reception. I loved is so much, I used it again for our "day after" professional photo shoot (Amanda Kopp! She's amazing!). It photographs beautifully and has AMAZING movement. You WILL want to twirl! I consider myself a "true" size 2, although usually wear a 0 in dresses. If in doubt, size down for your backup.

I got a ton of compliments on this skirt. It was perfect for a wedding because it had such great movement on the dance floor! The skirt looks, in person, a little more green-ish than it does in the photo, but still a really beautiful color. Pockets are always a plus in my book. It was a little heavy and warm for a June wedding in the South, but overall not too bad. Super comfortable - definitely didn't have to worry about being uncomfortable or self-conscious after a very rich, heavy plated dinner. I paired the skirt with a simply white silk cami and a gold statement necklace. I'm 5'2 and the skirt was VERY long, even with fairly high platform wedges. My biggest complaint was that it was SUPER wrinkled when it arrived! I tried repeatedly to press or steam the skirt to remove the wrinkles, but they wouldn't budge. I was a little self-conscious about the way it looked, but there was nothing I could do. Overall though, I loved it and would definitely rent again!

Ended up ordering size 8, since 10 wasn't available. Based on the other reviews, I thought it would be fine, especially since I am right between the two sizes; however, the 8 was definitely tighter in the waist than I expected. Perhaps I don't have much of a defined waist?But it looks like I wasn't the only one who had experienced this because the skirt came with a slight tear near the zipper, some loose threads, and a loose hook (see photo). I almost didn't wear it but put on some heavy duty spanx and all was good. I didn't order the matching top due to the price - luckily I found something that worked perfectly and allowed me to wear (pseudo) comfortable undergarments. I'm really glad I decided to wear the skirt - I felt really good and confident all evening, despite two hours spent on the red carpet in the intense heat. I received tons of compliments, which is saying something in a sea of custom designer gowns! And the pockets were fantastic. I highly recommend this skirt!

I expected it to be a lot longer than it actually is--I had to wear flats:-/ It definitely felt smaller also. I typically wear a 6 but had to wear the 8 in the skirt. It also came really wrinkly and even after 3 attempts, it didn't perfectly de-wrinkle.

i'm 5'5, wore 4 inch heels and still had to lift it a little when I walked so I wouldn't trip. Stairs are difficult because there is so much material to carry (again so you don't trip) but other than that it was absolutely stunning, fit perfectly, so many compliments. would rent again

I love this skirt, I would love to have a a basic in my wardrobe. The skirt runs long, I am only 5'1' and even with 5 inch heels the skirt was too long for me. It runs large in the waist. If I purchase this skirt which I am strongly considering I will get the size "0" and have the hem altered to create a mermaid effect. This skirt can lend it self to a casual Spring/Summer affair or a formal affair with the proper accessories and top.

The skirt fit true to size in the waist but I am petite and it was still rather long. There is a lot of material and I found it to be rather heavy and hot. It looked great and that's what matters :)

I rented this for my engagement shoot, and it was exactly what I envisioned. I wore the 0P - the fit of the waist was perfect, and it just skimmed the ground with flat sandals on. I thought the color was a little more muted than it looks in the pictures, which I loved. Highly recommend!

the waist band was a little loose but it worked perfectly with the top in the picture,

For the backup, I would go a size up. I wear 4-6-8 depending on the store and a 6 was pretty tight.
