was lucky enough to rent the full set since both of my sizes were available, and I honestly do not think I would have rented the shirt on its own without the matching pants. The sleeves are barrel style, similar to barrel pants, with that intentional dramatic poof. The fit is meant to be oversized, so you do not need to size down. If you do, the sleeves will likely be too short. Even though it is oversized, it does not look goofy at all. It looks very intentional, with the arms still somewhat fitted except for the barrel shape through the middle. You can wear it either as a top or as a jacket. I layered a long sleeve underneath and loved it. This is exactly the kind of piece Rent the Runway is perfect for. It is something you would think is cool, but might not know how often you would actually wear in real life. Renting lets you try it without the commitment. I wore it for a date night and felt great in it. Terrible quality picture but I pull my images from my videos.

Big fan of this set. I wasn’t sure how the glitter aspect of the denim would translate, thinking that it could get a little junior’s section. However, I ended up really loving it as an element that made the denim feel more party/weekend ready. I wore the set multiple times and received compliments every time.

This runs bigger but I was expecting that. I wanted something roomier that almost mimicked a jacket.

Most surprising to me was that this is sparkly!! Which was okay because I rented over the holidays. I am an XS/S and got the XS and it’s still quite oversized, but I liked that style. I thought I wouldn’t wear it at all and it ended up being the piece I wore most because it’s easy to throw on as a layer. I got compliments on the structure too.

I am beyond obsessed with this set. Not normally sparkle girl but it’s subtle and COOL. The set is soooo good I wanted to wear it the next day hehe. Went with my normal size and it still had an oversized look.

I didn’t find the wrists too tight like others, I thought this was the perfect pop to a traditional shacket.

This top has a cozy oversized and baggy fit! The subtle sparkles are so fun and elevate the look without being over the top. Even though the fabric is a bit stiff, it makes it perfect for layering! I loved it on its own, but it looks incredible when paired with the matching pants. It fits true to size, but if you want that oversized feeling to be dialed back just a bit, sizing down works great too!

I wore it as an elevated basic and actually got compliments on it. A tad stiff but a nice quality.

At first I didn't like the way it looked on me but gave it a chance and ended up liking it. Sleeves and material are unique. Wore it unbuttoned as a layering piece with a as it was too oversized to be pulled off as a top.

For reference I'm 5'5" and found the XS to be a great fit. It fit well over two layers of thin jumpers. Two things to note though, this is a sparkly jacket and the material is fairly thin. The sparkle is almost like a metallic under lying sparkle, nothing too loud. I absolutely loved this top!

Oversized, wore as a jacket and a shirt. Oversized fit, covers the bin. Really nice as a shirt and a jacket layer over a sweater. Wanted to keep.

I rented both pieces for some extra holiday sparkle with this set. It was comfortable but well tailored.

Loved this for work, concerts, and even dressed up for NYE. I liked the oversized fit and chest pocket! Maybe just me, but I found it a little itchy around the collar.

I saw one person mention it shimmered and thought I’d take the chance. But it’s really such a sparkly thread that it’s too much for me. If I had matching pants, I’d wear it to a party. But it looks dumb with reg black denim IMO. Very cool cut though

It's cute- was new with tags - but it's just a bit much gif me. Very stiff denim although with beautiful sparkles!

Struggled to style this because it's so oversized and sparkly, yet gives off casual. Others paired it with black pants but I found that to be overwhelming and hard to match black tones. I went with a lighter wash ankle jean and black Mary Jane's. Got lots of compliments (although everyone said they loved my "jacket"... even though it is a shirt!). But it is huge

Didn't wear. I know this is an oversized piece but it is beyond baggy. The look is off. Loved the shimmer in the material, but size down at least 1 size. Disappointing that I couldn't wear it. Waste of a spot.
