I rented a 27 at first and that was a little tight so I got a 28 and it’s very fun! Easy to throw on for work or dinner and just go. It does give prep school but oh well. Fun!

I’m liking this knee length these days. Fitted top balances the movement of the pleats. Sturdy fabric but airy enough for summer in nyc/dc.

Wore this to work on two occasions. Felt girly but had nice structure. Great length for the office.

Cute skirt; wrinkled easily

A bit long - just over the knee - made this a little less flattering.

Nothing really special about this and it was clearly well loved so the structure wasn’t great.

Thick cotton material. Wrinkled and felt like winter wear.

Fits tight around waist- may size up

Very unique style for a skirt. Perfect fit for me. I tend to be a little thick at the waist and the waist band accommodated my fit there, even thought it was not an elastic waist. Wore it for all casual events. Loved it. Bought it.

Nice fit. Heavier material. I liked it but felt like a school girls when paired with a blazer.

This came NWT. The skirt was perfect, just didn't have the occasion to wear it. I am a swing dancer and was excited to see a 1940s style skirt offered here on RTR. I would rent again. I'd love to see more of these vintage inspired items on RTR!

I loved this skirt, it's fun and put together at the same time, this is basically the perfect pleated skirt. It has very flattering silhouette that accentuates the waist and hips and the fabric/construction feels high quality. It has a drop waist, so the flare of the skirt falls right at top of the butt. This is a true 0 and because the skirt is high-waisted and has practically no stretch, it fits more like an American 00 or smaller. If you're hourglass shaped, you might find it a little tough to get the skirt over your hips even if it fits your waist. It does tend to wrinkle a little with wear but it's not particularly noticeable. It's easy to steam and the pleats hold up well as long as you don't intentionally steam/iron them flat like a maniac (I received new with tags). Really considering buying this one as it's a staple piece.

Didn’t have the size I wanted so I ordered up, and it was way too big. It was cute, so I will try again in the correct size.

I wore a uniform to school my whole life, so I couldn’t help but feel like I was wearing my uniform skirt to the office. It was still cute, but not something I’d necessarily “go for” every time.

I wear 26 in most jeans. Ordered this in 26 and wore but couldn’t zip all the way. Probably could have used a 28.

I wore it high on my natural waist, but if I had wanted to wear it any LOAR would’ve had to size up

Received new with tags and initially fit great, but stretched out and got just a little too big. I also wish it was just a *hair* shorter - the length was oddly matronly for the style. Would try renting again in a smaller size!
