This skirt has a super cute, preppy vibe! The sheer side panel adds a fun detail without being too revealing, but it might be too sheer for a professional work environment. Could be great for desk to drinks or a work outing! I would size up in this, I usually wear a size 2, but the size 4 fit me perfectly.

Waist snaps on side to close instead of zipper/hook. No flex in the waist so will feel snug or ride up if you're more than 30+". Pleated part of skirt is very sheer so not as professional

I would say the skirt fits true to size at your natural waist. However, there is no liner and is too sheer to wear in public given how high up it goes aka shows some cheek! Even if it fell low on the waist it would come up too high on the leg. Would work with something under it but unfortunately could not wear this to work as intended

It’s a little long for us shorties but love.

The cut for the sheer panel comes up to mid-upper thigh so I had to make sure it was facing the right way. If you have wider hips it would probably stay in place better than it did for me. Overall still pretty and was still appropriate for work.

The sheer side does come up a little high but overall its really not that noticeable so i didnt have any issues with it. Solid elevated basic with an interesting twist

Wore this to a launch party for work (non-conservative field) and this was so chic! Perfect to pair with a blazer and heels for a sleek look. Beware that one side of the skirt is super sheer, so if you wear shorts under dresses like I do, it will show unless you hike up the leg.

I was excited to wear this to a date, but turns out that the part of the skirt with the cut out was a little bit too tight. I have a decent size bottom so it makes sense, but I really love the skirts and they rent again and a slightly bigger size. The rest of the fit was perfect on the waist and everything else

Very snug in waist, tried to pair w a sweater but the material is more sophisticated. Looked better with fitted black shirt and heels. The slit is great for going out, suggestive but you have to look. Too provocative for work or day time.

This looked like it would be appropriate for work, but it is not - the inset panel is quite sheer and nearly completely see-through when in the light. Because of the high, arcing cut, cheek is definitely visible in many lights and angles. It would be appropriate for a hot date, but the main part of the skirt is pretty formal in feel and structure, so this would take a special event to be very suitable.

I sized up after looking at the comments. This fit my natural waist well (usually wear 28 or size 6 pants). It came down to my ankles, however, and was just way too long

The pleated part takes up more of the skirt than expected so the whole thing barely covers the bum. Not quite work appropriate but oddly frumpy for a date.

Pleating is hard to keep even and un-bunched through the cutout so you end up looking like you have very wide hips and thick legs. Cutout does indeed cross the butt plane so def not work appropriate.

Not super flattering on the belly (may have just been too small). Hard to style (a bit too formal to wear)

Beautiful detail

First time with this brand. Loved the sheer, but the waist is tight. Buttons went up to my natural waist, which made the sheer material start right under my bum.

The pleated sheer portion is current, but I just couldn't overlook the heavy polyester outer layer. Would be so nice in a lightweight wool blend. Fit is true to size.

I picked my usual size but this just fit awkwardly and tight in the wrong places. It bunched up I easily and was not flattering/easy to move in.

This skirt has a side panel made of chiffon that’s completely see through. I was unable to wear this because one entire leg was visible all the way up to upper thigh.

The quality of this skirt is incredible. It's so beautifully made, but I am about two feet too short for it and it runs really small. I wear a 40 in Lacoste, but this 42 was way too tight. Size accordingly.

I did not realize that this skirt is only pleated on a section.
