I am a little narrow and was worried that I would look like I was wearing a beautiful gown that just didn't fit properly...until I cinched the waist with a vintage decco belt and the results were... as close to perfection as I would probably ever get. I felt like a woman, I felt like the Co-Chair of an 1,100 person charity event, I felt my best. I have no idea how I will one up this dress for October Ball 2013.

I would normally have gone for a medium, but only large was available. Because of the fabric it still fit perfectly, and i paired it with a black studded belt to pull it together. I wore this to a winter wedding and it was the perfect combination of sexy and classy, while also being warm and comfortable. I would wear this again in a heartbeat!

I was surprised how stretchy the dress was I thought I would have to wear the XL but the Large fit like a glove!!! I wore it with fold buckle belt and gold earrings and a gold purse. I felt beautiful and received a lot of compliments. I'm 5'6 and wore 4 inch heels and dress almost reached the floor so order the long if you're wearing heels.

This dress is everything! Sexy and elegant combined. It's form fitting and spanx was a must for me. I'm happy I chose the long -- I'm 5'8 and had 2inch heels on.

OK the big tip is that I am over 6ft tall and it hit the floor! Yes I traded the ML which fit perfectly but was three inches short for the slightly larger LL. The jersey fabric was weighted to draw the excess down to form to the body and hide the fact it was larger. The weather was rainy and 40degress but with the sleeves I was just fine. The best thing about this dress is how unique it is, you get to have long sleeves with a peekaboo. I was able to wear the victoria secret plunge bra and no one noticed!! PS Paula Deen walked right up to me and said she loved my dress and hair, so it is now celebrity recommended.

The dress was short. I am 5'4 and ordered a regular it was to short for 3 inch heels ( I pulled it down for the picture, but I could have worn flats and been fine) the dress was very comfortable though and I received a lot of compliments, I lived it!

I wore the dress to the Marine Corp ball in November. No one else had this dress, or a dress with long sleeves. Its not super cold in Palm Springs CA in November, but at night the temp drops so the sleeves were perfect. I didn't have to worry about a jacket. I think if you are trying to go with a reserved look with a little bit of skin, this is the dress to go with. IN LOVE WITH IT!!!

It fit perfectly, and was so comfortable! Got a million compliments.

I added a gold thin belt. It looked fantastic!

I rented and wore both the LR and MR over Inauguration weekend. At all events, this dress was quite a hit and I felt utterly fantastic (and comfortable!) in it. I added a belt, which really seemed to complete the look along with the rented emerald clutch and statement earrings. As for sizes, the LR was just a bit too long and grew too big throughout the first evening to be worn again. On the other hand, the MR was surprisingly short on my 5'2" frame...but I was able to get away with it for the second night. I will add that it was surprisingly difficult to find a bra/undergarment arrangement that worked with the dress, but entirely worth the trouble in the end. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

I would suggest though if you're my height to get the XSL as this was a little short on me and my shoes were showing. Other than that, this dress was perfect for the Opera!

Couldn't decided if I wanted to rent a dress or not. Really glad I did! I got the long and it was perfect. I felt like the dress hung a little on me so I pieced it with a skinny black belt. Dress was stunning and this process was so easy! Definitely renting again!

I'm glad I got a long. It hit right at the floor with my 2" heels. I did not wear anything on my breasts and used double sided tape that kept everything in pace. Perfect dress.

I wore this dress to a conservative formal event. I taped the neckline together so it wasn't so low cut. I'm 5'5" and it hit the floor barefooted. I wore cage heels and that worked well enough. Some reviews said the sleeves were long but they were just right for my monkey arms! It's very comfortable and the jersey is heavy and forgiving. For me, it wasn't a 'wow' dress but worked well for my occasion.

I wore this for my sorority formal and I loved it. It's not a body con dress so it doesn't run tight through the torso just lightly hangs on your frame. The one major note is it runs super short! I ordered the regular and at 5'1 it didn't even hit the floor with out shoes and my only pair of shoes were 6 inch platforms at least they were black but definietly a style preference I wish it hit the floor past my shoes and that bugged me but other than that i was so comfortable and got so many compliments!

All righty RTR-ers, I wish this were more plainly spelled out before I rented. I'm 5'5" and a half and went with a MR because I didn't want to be stepping on my gown all night. The dress fit perfectly, EXCEPT for the hem, which was about 2" too short - I wore gladiator sandals, so it wasn't heel height that was the problem. The jersey is typical jersey fabric - I don't think it warrants a $160 rental (or the "value" of the dress) and I wore spanx to smooth everything out because it does show quite a bit otherwise. I wish this rental included fashion tape because I did need to tape the keyhole in order for it to look appropriate for the affair. I also did not wear a bra (I'm a C-cup) and it worked out OK (it's a dual-layered jersey fabric, and in the black I didn't feel exposed). I bought a vintage belt online and if I hadn't belted the dress it definitely would've left me shapeless. I think it needs a belt for full effect. I give this dress a 4/5 stars because of the length, but it was otherwise PHENOMENAL. Another great rental from RTR :)

This gown was a hit at a recent wedding; definitely not for women with a larger bust though; I tried the medium which fit well except for the key hole; I'm a C cup and the opening was way too wide and just didn't sit right. Once I went to the large I was much more comfortable. The length was just right with my heels. This is a very comfortable dress with nice heavy fabric; it will keep you warm if you're wearing it in the cooler months. Also rented earrings and bracelet to complete my look. Overall a success!

This dress is a show stopper. All night people asked me about it and complimented me. It was cold outside and it really kept me warm whenever I stepped out onto the balcony of the party. The problem was that it fits in all the wrong places. I wore spanx and it was absolutely necessary to smooth out my midsection and back. I still felt a little uncomfortable. My breast were too big (DD) for that keyhole. It was a very formal event with my company so I avoided being too sexy and pinned the front. I still felt amazing and I would consider renting it again but in a bigger size and still belt it like I did. Belting is necessary because its a little boxy up top.

The fit was perfect. The material stretches a bit so even if it is snug, it will still work. Make sure to have fashion tape to tape down the key hole.

While other girls wore short dresses - I loved standing out in this sleek long dress. The cut made it fun and classic! Would recommend wearing hiiiiigh heels!

The dress fit true to size and accentuated my curves. I did wear Spanx to smooth things out, but if you are one of the lucky ones out there, the material is thick enough to hide imperfections (e.g. cellulite). I am a size DD bust, and the opening in the top-middle of the dress exuded sexiness, especially considering the rest of the dress is simple. The dress was classy, great quality, and the fabric did not itch. I was warm, which was important, as I wore this on the east coast during the winter. I am 5'3 and wore 5" platform hills, so the LL was perfect! I was a diva and everybody in the place knew it! I felt fabulous in this dress and would definitely wear it again. It was a head turner. The red lipstick I wore set everything off. Ladies, this is an awesome and forgiving dress.

I was comfortable in it the whole time, I didn't feel like my ladies were going to fall out at any time. its a great dress for a day that is just right temperature wise. If i wore this in the middle of summer, i think it would be too hot and I would be too cold if I wore it in the winter.

The slit in the front was way too plunging so that had to be pinned, otherwise gorgeous! Loved wearing this dress and would rent it again!

I've put on some weight, so I was looking for something in which I would look non-heinous. This fit the bill! Tight yes, but with some slimming undergarments I managed to look vamp-y and not like a stuffed sausage. I met up with friends before the wedding for some cocktails, and had my choice of cabs and was hit on by the hot bartender at the chi-chi wine bar we went to. A PLUS, DRESS. A PLUS. Also, the material is VERY stretchy, and so was great for dancing! The wedding was indoors, so with the long sleeves I did not freeze in the Arctic temp A/C. A win all around.

No cons to this dress. It fits like a glove!

The dress is stretchy/bouncy when you dance. It was so comfortable. It fit perfectly. It's tight enough to give you shape but not hug. I do wish I would have ordered the long instead of the regular. I am 5'4 and wore 4 inch heels. It wasn't terrible, but I would have been better off going long.

This dress was gorgeous-- I got the long and it was perfect (I'm 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels). It was unique but classic. I did have to pin the cleavage a bit (it was wayyyyy too open for a work affair), but it still looked great.

Perfect for professional evening events. Very comfortable fit. Depending on how comfortable you are with the opening, you might opt for some Hollywood tape! Overall, I loved it (as did everyone else)!

This was a very comfortable dress! It was very cool for a long sleeve gown and I would've been able to dance in it without getting hot! Unfortunately, the cleavage was a little more than I had bargained for. Other than that, it was a very elegant gown.

The dress was a great fit except that it is super short! I am 5'5" and the regular barely grazed the top of my foot. Good thing I ordered backup dresses. I would definitely rent this dress again in a long.

I did not end up wearing this dress but I rented both the large and extra large in long and had I worn one I would have gone with the Large. The dress was gorgeous and super comfortable, just be sure to have a varity of options for bras because the cut out can be super revealing.

The fit was nice, overall: flattering in the hips and rear. However, the keyhole in the front was too revealing for my body. I'm a 34A and even with double sided tape, the keyhole gaped and looked ill-fitting. I think this would be a nice choice for a full B cup or larger. For me, I wore my second option.

Loved the fabric, it's very flattering and forgiving in all the right places. I didn't like that the fabric that lines the slit in the front comes to a point below the slit and sticks out a bit which kind of makes you look like your tummy is sticking out. It was also too short for 4 inch heels but if you're going with a shorter heel it should be ok. I didn't end up wearing the dress to my event as it just didn't work with the shoes.

I really liked this but ending up loving my back up dress even more. This was not near as flattering and even though i ordered an XL, it still was snug. I am 5'7 and with 4 inch heels, it came a little short. Which was surprising because most designer dresses run very long. Not sure if i would rent this again.

The dress was beautiful. I got 3 or 4 compliments on how classic was. The problems I had with it were: 1) It was pretty short. I'm 5'7 and got the long, and it was cutting it close to being too short with 3 inch heels. I wish it were a little bit longer. 2) It was very snug, and extremely unforgiving.

The material is heavy, so this is definitely for a colder season, I wish I would have went with the xsL because CK runs a little big in my opinion. This gown is meant for a girl with a smaller bust, there is no way I could have worn this to a wedding w/ my D cup no matter how elegant it was

Cannot tell from picture but it's a very soft beautiful material that flows over your body. Personally I do not think it is very forgiving. I will say that it runs very short. I am 5'6' and the xs I ordered was a number of inches above my ankles. I would also caution that if you have a chest it will show more cleavage than the picture of the model.

I loved this dress, but it was WAY too short. I'm 5'9 and it was literally mid-calf length. I even wondered if perhaps it shrunk in RTR's dry cleaning process. Either way, I definitely should have chosen the ML. The weight of the dress is great for a winter event, and the keyhole neckline is very flattering. I was truly sorry I couldn't wear it.

This was sent as a replacement and luckily the stylists sent other options as well. I think in order to pull this dress off you must be thin and have a small bust.
