I rented this dress for a work party. I received many compliments on it. The fabric was great and didnt look wrinkled when I stood up after sitting for so long. Things I didnt like: (1) the lining underneath shifted several times during the night and (2) there is a line/seam at hip level that is more like a pleat. I had to keep pulling the dress down to keep the sleek look of the dress. That being said, I would absolutely rent it again!

true to size and length,great dress

This is a lovely dress, very classy shape with sexy nude lining that makes the open seams appear to be almost revealing. The problem is the material has no stretch, so if you are C+ and up, it will zip just past the waist,but no higher. I went up a size for this reason and the dress was looser than it was probably meant to be. It worked out b/c I was at a presentation prior to dinner, so it was professional enough for that. Occasionally, the nude lining would be revealed when the dress pulled up with moving from sit to stand. This seems to happen with a lot of dresses with linings, however.

perfect for a birthday brunch

Beautiful color, but I found it to be short-waisted for someone with a long, thin torso. It also rode up some while walking. Elegant if you're standing still most of the night. Not for a dinner event; it bunches.

unfortunately this sizes only go up to a 44, so I only got one size. I usually wear a size 8, but sometimes in the european dresses I need to go up one size. Unfortunately the 44 was just too snug to get it all the way zipped!

The material was dull, too thick, and had no stretch.

This dress is beautiful but not the right dress for 5'1, long-waisted, short-legged.
