I wore these to a gala to add a pop of color to my outfit. Although they are large, they were not super heavy, and the backing held them on with ease. I was surprised that the back side of the earrings is gold, but it is not super noticeable when they are on. The color is a little subtle, so they are difficult to photograph from a distance, hence, my including a close-up shot.

I absolutely loved these as a contrast pop of color for my baby shower. They made the perfect statement without being over the top or too evening for the event. For their size they were extremely light weight. I was so happy with these and will definitely try more jewelry from this designer.
